    I for one really don't care about them anymore. I would like to have that Kidd who is a 3* that run head first into a wall if the coach told him to and knock himself down get back up and do it again because he believes/ loves in the U that much. Im pass all the wait a see game most of these KIDDS are playing and I think AG is also. Take the kidds that want to be here and not the ones who aren't sure, because those are the ones who won't give at 100% once they get here... JMO

  • At this point, what's the hold up? Now if they are playing playoff ball, then I can understand waiting until that chaos gets out the way. On the other hand, if they want to play for a school, then I do not understand why some of these kids wait so long to decide when they already know where they want to go in the first place!

    Dorsett, Perryman, Cain, Gaines, D. Smith, Walford, etc. all 2-3 star recruits, have done more in their short time here than their predecessors.

    You can't just look at Miami when having an opinion about five stars...bama can win with them. Lsu can. So can ou. Why can't we? If we neglect the best players well also end up getting beat by them at some point. We have to find the gray area between blue chips and those that still need to prove their talent...because you need both. I'm sick of people pointing to this one class of 08 and saying "this is what you get when you recruit blue chips." Its one class that became spoiled and complacent...that doesn't mean every blue chipper is. Lets not over react and say we can win without them because we won't...championships anyways.

  • completely agree...Howard is pretty much just down to FSU and UF while Bush is heavily favoring BAMA right now and it would be tough to get him...Howard: 5% and Bush: 15%

    I agree. I think Shannon got some quality players, but they just weren't developed correctly.

    Miami could definitely use some blue chippers. Specifically at S and DT. I also think we could use a couple of stud WR's. But when I look at this class, I'm still pretty proud of it. All the guys I see are people who want to be Hurricanes, have high energy, ready to compete, and are good football players. I think we have some good football players, but either they were injured or have just been overshadowed. I don't think we are recruiting "under the radar" kinda people because when I look at them, they perform well and are star players on their team.
