We only lose Nicolas and Mike Williams in the secondary and neither made many plays. I expect us to pick up 1 or 2 JUCO CB's which will be huge for us, I think they will be way ahead of our young guys and could actually force turnovers. I think Ray Ray and VT will make good strides and will get reeled in a little and won't take so many chances or miss as many tackles. I'm actually most worried about our LB's, Denzel Perryman is a stud and could be moved inside. But between Gaines, Paul, Buchanon, Kirby and others I am really worried. Gaines didn't do anything and lost his job quickly. I've never really been impressed with Buchanon. I'm really excited about Gionni Paul and Raphael Kirby, but they are both really young!

If what is being written is correct, we will sign 30-35 kids this recruiting cycle. I think that this will create a sense of urgency for some players. This is equal to over half of your travel squad and about half of your total scholarship players. The current players better get their ass in gear Golden is not BS'n. I think or offense will be 10x's better just because of morris's ARM strength along with his athleticism. My worry is that golden might be going with a youth movement all the "clock punchers" your going to be fired because the transition year is over

Secondary is scary, but DL scares me more. This DL couldn't stop anyone from running up the middle and couldn't get any pressure on opposing QB's. It is as like the DL didn't even exist.

I think to be an effective defense you have to have good DL play. The DL can make our secondary look good as long as they get some pressure on the QB.
