I don't care what the university was saying. It was Beamer. That's a hell of a mistake to make, and the kid had been recruited by those coaches and would know who he's talking to.

But, even if he was wrong and it wasn't Beamer, it was someone on his staff, and that conversation is crap. I wouldn't be surprised if Golden got on the phone later and made it damn clear that threats against his recruits wouldn't be tolerated. Flipping recruits is part of the game and these are kids. No matter what you think of their decision they are kids and this type of reaction is crap.
