Ok guys. So my vert has been stuck at 28 inches for awhile now. My question is does anyone have an idea of what I could do to increase this? Ive been doing power cleans and Im fairly new to them but Im already doing 210 lbs. Just need some ideas. Thanks guys!!

Im in high school right now and im a sophomore I run a 4.5 in the 40. My genes really did most of the work but not be racist or anything im African american but what helps most of us get faster is running on the beach for hours with a parachute. All of my teammates do it and we come back faster each season try it. Its hard but well worth it

There are many factors in this. I trained for increasing vert and went from 32 inches to 41 inches some years back. You want to be lean and mean, hard to jump with excess body fat. You want to study your take off, are u a 1 foot jumoer or two, etc. Some people have power but are not coordinated. Wear your strength shoes and jump and touch the rim 10 times on each side. Do three sets, each time u land exode immeadiately back up. Do strength training for your core, it is huge for jumping. Finally you need a string glutes and legs. Squats and lunges with dumbells help. Go heavy go deep on your squats build power.
