the worst national title game ever. Look, I'm big on defense, but these guys are so inept offensively it's staggering. There's no shot down the field, albeit everybody loading the box with 9 guys, no innovation, no spreading the field to hammer the ball inside, etc etc etc...
If you're gonna hammer the ball, then why are you putting double tight in? If you're gonna go play action with stretch and waggle back the other side, why are you throwing to the tight end 57 plays in a row.
Mother of God, this is like watching paint dry.

LSU just does a double move with beckham on cover 1...Jefferson throws the ball as a 20 yard sideline. If he throws it out in front and goes over the top, it's six. They then throw the ball downfield and are successful. Do they stick with it? (if it's not broke, don't fix it) No. They hammer Ware between the tackles and end up putting themselves in third and long....punt.
How do these O coordinators retain their jobs??? Did anybody hear Chip Kelly at halftime? He was basically saying, "give me that talent and I'll show ya' how many points I can lay on the board."
Awful. Putrid. Stinko.
If this was Jedd Fisch, people would want him sent to the guillotine after the game.

Agreed.
But sweet Jesus, bama's defense is scary good. Courtney upshaw is a stud! That's the type of player McCord could be.

Good minds think alike coach. I just said that right before halftime. This is the most boring NC ever!!! Both offenses are horrible. Alabama is a little better and that's why they are winning, but they are making these defenses look that much better than what they really are.

Bama goes to a corner route and gets 19 yards on this first drive.... They go play action and he gets flushed out of the pocket, guy is WIDE open and misses him. Is this good defense or terrible offense??? Now they run it with Richardson and put themselves back in third and long.... Lemme guess....I'll take Alabama/LSU offense for 1,000, Alex.

INEPT is the perfect word here. Bama wins because LSU can't get a first down. You gotta go to throwing the ball downfield. Why not bring in Lee? Right?

I think they have thrown it behind the los more than beyond it...take Jefferson ofut his athleticism is nullified completely and he can't throw
