Here's to the idiots on this board who don't understand football and keep bashing Mark D'Nofrio.. SUCK IT!
Throwin this out there right now..
The Miami Hurricanes defense will be in the TOP 3 in the ACC this year.. We don't have needs on defense recruiting wise.. We just need these young studs to grow up a little bit.. This year they will!

Hope so -- But saying so, doesn"t make it so. Seriously, we always have recruiting needs for, at least, depth and for the future.
AG has been quoted all off-season stating that we MUST get pressure on the QB -- and that's a #1 priority -- and if we don't, in my opinion, there should be some changes to the defensive coaching staff. The players were green & sometimes out played, but didn't deserve all the blame.

We don't have a defense.
No one is expecting big things out of our D. We are just HOPING right now.
I'm hoping early playing time pays off though

We had a young inexperienced team. It's easy for people to blame the coach because its his defense. AG&COMPANY did the best with what we had, the benefits of the young guys playing early will show in the years to come. Brandon McGee even stood up for Coach D saying he had a good system in place, the defense was just so young. We were at rock bottom as far as defense goes last year. There's no way but UP!! #ITSALLABOUTTHE[]_[]

Well, that was VT last year (2nd) actually without Pitt. and that was good for 4-4 conf and 7-6, and 39th ranked D overall in D1.
3rd I guess would have been NCstate, which was also 4-4, and 7-6. But down to 46th ranked D in the Nation.
