I have come to believe that Shannon is the boogie man of UM. You never seem him, but he damn sure gets talked about...lol.

Why are you looking to the past like that...that's it, it's done. I love Randy Shannon as a fellow alum, player, and coach, but he didn't get it done with all of that talent. Period. You can bring in all of the talented players you want, but if you don't develop them and get results (since this is Miami), then time is up for you. Yes, coaching turnover in his staff was part of the problem, but MOST programs go through coaching turnovers like that, just maybe not as frequent. Stop making excuses for him. I have the utmost faith in Golden that he will turn this program around. Trust in the now, stop looking at the past. Jeez

Just the way I see it 337 & with each high profile recruit AG keeps home-those home crowds will start to grow & grow again. That is 1 thing that is important to kid's is to be seen & the truth is-Miami just hasn't been coming out to support us like they can. There really hasn't been a big reason for the avg fan to come but now AG recruiting & keeping more guy's home-we start to win on a consistent basis again-as bad as I hate not having our own stadium & that's another whole can of worms on it's on-we do play in an NFL stadium & when AG is putting us out a winner like we expect this year-these crowds will come. We just have to put something out there for them to come & see & to be honest-some of the ACC games are not the most appealing in the would ya know. I mean games vs Wake Forrest & Duke & teams like this just don't exactly do it for the avg fan but, if we have more local stars & we are winning games that won't matter then-fans will get to where they can't wait for a home game to come out & support our CANES. To be honest-with the way AG is recruiting-this NCAA BS finally getting put to rest-& we start winning on a consistent basis-we have the potential to fill the stadium more than the Phins really.

Although the Univ of Miami is a small private school-Miami can be a college town again-when we were wearing that azz out in the 80's-early 90's & 2000's-the fans came. Now granted we still has the iconic OB which I wish we still had with every part of me & what a mistake it was on the uppers at Miami to let that get tore down but like I said-we keep these local kid's home doing it up like -AC-Matthew Thomas-Big Kirk-KB-These are just more & more kid's whose family & friends will start to come out & slowly our stadium will start to fill. Even better when we are winning double digits again every year-even fans who have no contacts to the Univ will come-Miami loves the CANES it's just-some way the last 2 regimes just let this program sink to an all time low basically & the fans who might have came out when the OB was rocking & we were rocking well-they just quit coming. So now AG has embraced our traditions-is even adding to them with the CANE walk-is getting them to open the lot's up earlier for more tail gating & now with a winner on the field with local stars-we have a winner in the making & a full stadium coming with it. I expect our crowds to really be a lot better this year & just continue to grow every year until we are looking at a full stadium again & our CANES are ROCKING IT THROUGH THE SMOKE LIKE WE ONCE DID. It's all here in the making-& just these few crucial pulls to end this classs will help a ton not to mention a 10 win season with our 1st ACC crown FOR REAL" SO GET READY CANES & MIAMI-WE ARE COMING BACK WITH A VENGENCE & ARE READY TO ROCK IT THROUGH THE SMOKE & BRING THE CITY & UNIV #6 BACK HERE. IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER & NOW EVEN THE AVG FAN CAN SEE IT TOO & THATS THE KEY TO FILLING A STADIUM & KEEPING OUR LOCAL STARS BACK TO THE "U"!!!!!

Dude u just being flat out stupid now, cause everyone knows Nevin Shapiro even said that Shannon couldn't stand him, but Shannon was ordered by Shalala & Hocutt to leave Shapiro alone cause he was such a prominent booster. So if you're gonna blame someone, blame the school president that you all claim to love so much, MISS DONNA SHALALA & former a.d. Kirby Hocutt for selling out the U for a measly 200k!! P.s. Why do you think Shannon fired Hurtt & ran Marve outta town!!

22 & USMC- Look-AG has had a lot to deal with since day 1 -all I am doing is giving credit where credit is due. And as far as beating who we did-yeah we are supposed to beat them but-we haven't been doing so well against team we are supposed to beat & with such a young team last year-I would say we played more fresh than any major program in he country. But when you have a new staff come in-it's not because the program was left in good shape-if that's the case then-no coaching change. But with what this cat had had to deal with man-I don't know of many coaches who could have handled it let alone do what he has done. And id he closes this class like we are hoping well-the Ne Canes & HIS TEAM will now be in place. The reason RS is still being mentioned guy's is because that is basically what AG has had to work with besides playing a crap load of Fresh & Sophs last year. But now it's his team & almost all of the last regimes players will be gone & with a strong close-we can start to have confidence in our team again. I know not many thought we would win as many as we did last year & some of them was on pure heart & talent because the def. coaching absolutely sucked-let's just face it? But with this season coming-we are really just getting into the Golden era & we still have to deal with whatever those Clowns at the NCAA are gonna do.

But talking about being crowned-I think the dude has come in & has done more than expected with all he's had to deal with & if he closes this class like we are expecting-you have to admit this dude is for real & is gonna build us a winner-just a matter of time & the time is NOW-We should start to look more like the CANES this year & if Coach D does not handle his part this year then as CHRIS CARTER would say "HE GOTTS TO GO" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
