Ricardo Johnson III- Check him out guys

  • So Ive been meaning to tell you guys about this kid for awhile now. But this kid is nuts!! I worked out with him during the summer and a few other times at various points the last couple years and the kid has always stood out. He's a 2014 kid and is still growing. He's not exactly Sony Michel's caliber. But this kid is gonna be the next big thing outta Cretin Durham Hall up here in MN. Check him out if you can.

  • Scott you are dead on about this kid, Ricardo Johnson III, that attends Cretin Derham Hall in St. Paul, MN. I went to see my Nephew play earlier this year and saw this kid put on a clinic against my Nephew's team. He threw for over 300 yards and 4 touch downs. He has average speed and size, but he was toying with the defense looking off defenders, double pumping to get our safeties to bite. He plays the position like a college player, right now. If the Canes can get Henderson to talk to his fellow Raider Miami should jump on this kid quickly.

Exactly. I know most people on here wouldn't want him because he doesn't play in SoFla. But this kid could really be a national prospect if he were to grow a few inches. Me and some buddies at the place I used to workout at had a 7 on 7 kinda thing we would do for bragging rights. When this kid was the QB Im telling you it was amazing how accurate he was. (and that was against guys who were training for the NFL)

  • I doubt we will be going out of state for a RB in 2014 with Sony and Yearby from Central being in our backyard.

Oh my bad. Saw you mentioned Sony and assumed he was a RB LOL In that case we should take a strong look at him.

Scott, I read about this kid in Rivals, so I Googled him and found your post. The article said that he's accounted for over 1700 hundred yards of total O, 1407 passing for 17 touchdowns and 1 interception. 86% completion and 321 rushing in 6 games. They have him listed at 5'11 160. And you've seen this kid in person? I know the U's Walsh, Chris Weinke and Joe Mauer went to Cretin they are hyping Johnson as the next in line. I would love to see this kid at the U! Thanks for keeping an eye out for talent Scott!

I actually haven't had a chance to see his games in person because Im going crazy with school this semester. BUT I have worked out with him and Ive done a lot of behind the scenes interactions with the kid. From everything Ive seen this kid is the REAL DEAL. But Ill for sure keep trying to make it to one of his games.

oh come on scott, you really had to throw that in there? our posters might favor Sofla kids, but they aren't dense enough to think that no talent comes from any other part of the country. someone just the other day posted how all our successful TE's came from out of state. i think you've let the handful of pessimists get to you, lol.

Lol it's way true. Most of the time guys on here dont want a QB (dual threat type) or basically any skill position kid that didn't play in SoFla.
