I don't have a problem with it. He's right, he has earned the right to look around! As fans we don't see it that way. This kid is the one who has to go through tough practices, being homesick, as well as trying to pursue a dream of making it to the NFL while getting a degree. Let him take his time and make the decision that is best for him. I want this kid just as bad as anyone, but this is a life decision for this kid, we shouldn't judge him for taking visits.

To be honest I don't know what the infatuation is with this kid I saw him in the state championship game and he wasn't anything special.... if he is dumb enough to go to florida state after they just started recruiting him let him go.... same with brown all of the physical attributes but nothing special on the field.... kid is a diva same type of kids we have been getting the last 7 years and that has ran our program in the ground we need a kid that has talent but is willing to work hard and bust his butt...

Well 1 good thing- He ain't giving us the " DREAM SCHOOL " BS. I really wanted this one to stick as he is projected as the best LB in FL this year. I just can't believe he's showing FSU love after they basicaly didn't want him when he was interested in them. So, we shall see, but I really do hope he sticks. If he decommits- that would be 3 4* LB's to decommit.

We will see like every recruiting day you lose some players due to academics or whatever an you gain a recuit you never saw coming at all, I'll say this I for one want Reggie in this class period.

I remember a fsu fan saying to me thanks for Devonta Freeman, I said back to him thanks for Reggie Northup. He said who is that, we dont want him. This was like a month or two back...

I hope AG can work his magicn but I don't have a good feeling about this one. It made me laugh when he said he liked fsu's tradition, they got nothing on the U in terms of tradition.

Reggie is a great player and will be a great college LB. Best LB on our board hands down. Size and speed you look for. Everyone else on our board will be Spence like and need to bulk up. Shame...hopefully we start to get these kids in the coming years under Golden.

note to Mr. Northrup and other committs....dont say your committed, then a soft committ and then play games.....i dont care if they're kids, when i was his age i was brought up, when you make a committment to anything you stick to it.....please do Cane nation a favor and just decommit.....would be better for both parties.....like Coach G says if they are looking then we are looking!....Go Canes....

I think most kids would be worried about an additional bowl ban, but scholarship reductions in upcoming seasons does not affect them.
Ohio state has a bowl ban but is still recruiting well. USC was also able to do the same but now when their scholarship reductions kick in they will have very little room for error in getting in the right kids
