This was a status update Ray put on his Facebook page.
"There will be a huge surprise on Friday........no auburn, no Georgia, no lsu......time to shock the world baby"
Also, Chip Towers from the Atlanta Journal Constitution put this on twitter earlier today.
"5-star DE Ray Drew eliminates Clemson from his finalists. Visited there this past weekend. "
Sounds like it might be good news for the U!!!

This is anyone's guess. I think it bodes well for us for sure! Some are saying FSU which would be out of nowhere

FSU is out of scholarships!!!!!! I also seen on twiitter that we may be the final decision... keep in mind Chick said that NSD is going to be full of surprises with dudes that's already committed to the U but want to shock people on NSD!!! Pray for the best fellas this has been the craziest 6 weeks I have ever experienced as far as recruiting and I have enjoyed the hell out of it!!! Excited for next year and the years to come.. Keep up the good work Golden and ALL staff!!! Shout out to ITU for keeping us up to date!!!

Not to burst anybody's bubble, but ESPN said that this past weekend while Antonio Richardson was visiting UGA, that Drew was recruiting him hard to come there..it wouldn't make sense for him to do that if he wasn't planning on committing to Georgia

I think this is a stretch to get drew, but I just read on ESPN that both jason and xavier gimble (number one tight end recruit last year) could be coming to miami. The rumor is if jason gimble comes to the U, Xavier might transfer and follow!! but I think from before, Miami's cut off for recruits to transfer is jan. 31st, so we will see ....

I just don't see why he'd write "No Auburn....No Georgia, no lsu...." and then chose one of those schools. Seems kinda dumb to me.

Unfortunately I think it's FSU. FSU is 30 miles away from his hometown, where he is a pastor of a church. FSU has been recruiting him for 4 years and he's probably made many unofficial visits there. Really hope I'm wrong.

FSU would really be out of nowhere. I know I haven't been looking real hard, but I haven't heard anything from him about FSU. This would really be a big deal for us. If Golden manages to sway this guy after only 1 month of recruiting, then he really is something special.

Wasn't he in "love" with Al Golden or was that someone else? I think he's coming here....and whatever happened to Chick being in Jadeyveon Clowney's ear hahahaha that would be a nice "surprise" for The U on NSD....but a canefan can dream hahaha

Good lord if FSU gets Drew, Steward, Jernigan on NSD that class is better than UF last year IMO.

regardless of wether we get Drew, i must say,.. i am completely satisfied with the players we have gotten thus far. i don't care about the stars or the class ranking. i've watched film on a vast majority of the players and i am excited by what i see. they have talent and play with an attitude.

i'm guessing he is not one of the ones Chick is talking about, they didn't take their OV's on the same weekend. but, this is just hypothetical, they may be in communication despite this.

Wouldn't be much of a "shock the world" factor as he stated on his FB if he picks FS WHO because he would just blend in with the other recruits they have this year that are just as good if not better than him.. also he did say after his visit he was gonna bring some of that Miami SWAG back to GA with him... so if he doesn't pick us then make sure you give us our SWAG back because SWAG is only for Miami Players!! That being said I hope he got a good taste of what SWAG was from the Team that invented it and picks THE U !!!
