  • These kids earned their right to take a visit. I am glad he is having an enjoyable experience and I expect him to be in this class. It is hard for those northern schools to sway.these kids. Heard it was freezing for Wisconsins spring game.

  • Madison is actually a very pretty campus, esp this time of the year. Dec - Apr is a different story.

    My gut is he is a cane all day at the end of it. First time having ever been on a plane? Let him enjoy those experiences.

  • If he is good enough to play in the NFL he might as well get a dose of cold weather to know what it is like. Recall the bowl game between the 2 teams 3 years ago. Miami's players looked like a bunch of wusses hanging out by the heaters on the sidelines. UW players, including the ones from Florida, were in short sleeves the whole game. Gonna bet Collins has a dvd of that game.

  • Are we really talking about Wisconsin here? The bottom line is kids serious about football go to a school that will help them get to the league.     Question: who was the last running back from Wisconsin to make it to the pro bowl and what year did it happen?

    As for the U, maybe you've heard of Frank Gore, Willis McGahee, Clinton Portis, Edgerrin James, etc.

    Miami puts players in the NFL because they bring in talented individuals. Miami doesn't actually develop their players, they just sign and release top talent....yet somehow you guys are barely above .500 year in and year out. It's actually quite amazing.

    I'm not saying that Miami is a bad school or that your football program is bad. All I'm saying is that calling Wisconsin a joke is absolutely ridiculous. If you had ever been to Madison, you would have realized that it is pretty much universally accepted as a top 10 college town. Great academics, amazing party school, great sports (top 15 in football, basketball, and hockey), and we do it the right way (meaning we don't cheat).

    Collins might not end up at Wisconsin, but saying that UW is a joke just makes Cane fans look incredibly butthurt. It's okay though, I have a few friends that are Cane graduates and i know that most of the graduates a good people....unfortunately you guys have a plethora of Wal-mart fans that are far too stupid to have ever entered a U classroom. It's these guys that make the U look bad...talking about thugs and cheaters, saying they just have swag...that's gotta be incredibly embarrassing for actual graduates.
