Some tidbits…
From Our Boy BG
- Deon Bush looks like he is coming at safety. I personally feel he is best suited at corner, but depth may have dictated this move.
- Gray Crow is really impressing people with his work ethic.
- Coaches believe Briscoe and Ivery will qualify.
- Lewis, Lockhart and Waters expected to play right away.
- Olsen is not a silent but they feel good about him.
- Drew Rosenhaus is claiming that Golden badmouthed the underclassmen to the NFL teams, which is why they slipped.
- A guy who has been on staff at Alabama and UM claims that Miller, Vernon and Washington are on par with the Alabama players in talent but have not been developed as well (whether through weight-training, medical staff, coaching, or a combo of all three).

This contradicts what Rosenhaus said himself, on the Joe Rose show about how Coach Golden helped.

Are you serious? He was here when all that under development occured. He goes to bama for a year and thinks he didnt have any role in how bad we were when he was here? Stupid...

Anybody who thinks Kehoe can sniff Stoutlands jockstrap is either misinformed or clueless.
Stoutland is an elite OL coach. Kehoe is below average.

Time will tell if Stoutland was actually a good coach and just didn't have the ability to develop players due to the environment created by the previous staff... Or if Kehoe has indeed lost his touch... OR if Kehoe just hasn't had the players with the proper attitude to develop... As far as Im concerned the Jury is still out. But I hope to GOD that Kehoe gets these guys being able to sleep walk and be All Americans.

He proved that many years back at Mich St... His peers thought very highly of him. It's not by chance that he landed a job at the best football school in the country. He is the real deal.

Yup.
Everyone can hate on Saban all they want but he is one of if not the best coach in America. He can basically have who he wants to coach his O-line and he isn't gonna bring in average coaches. There is a reason Stout is at Bama.
