Pro Canes Height and Weight

  • I think its pretty safe to say that any player on the roster from here on out H&W should be taken with a huge grain of salt. It was unbelievable to see how off the player H&W was from the roster to the pro day and combine numbers. I remember a couple times think there no way a 6-3 Wr shouldn't dominate the acc corners now its easier to understand being that our 6-3 Wr were barely 6-1. I know they do it at other schools but it just so irritating.

    Who are you referring to? It seems like this year all of our player's heights were pretty much right on. Now weight is a different story because that can change weekly depending on the impression the player wants to put on the NFL community. Benjamin measured at 5'10, Byrd 6'3.5, Streeter 6'5, & Aldarius at 6'1. All were listed at that height or plus 1" generally given by all schools for cleats.

    aldarius was listed at 6'3 his first two yrs in the program Vernon was listed as 6'4, forston 6'3. I was speaking for all of the roster even though i kind of singled out the Wr.

  • Futch was listed at 6'3 and measured at 6'0. and Gunn was listed at 6'2 and was also measured at 6'0.

    None of our guys were bigger then advertised and most were at least an inch shorter. We have to do better there.

  • This happens in all sports at every level. Check some of the kids we recruit. Most will be listed a couple of inches taller and 10-15 pounds heavier.

  • I don't care what anybody says. Futch and Gunn are NOT just 6'0"!! I've seen both up in person and i'm 6'0" even and they both are taller than me.
