Wheeler is listed as starting as center and Shane is not playing this spring

Is the McCord move to LB permanent? Or just for the spring to help out with numbers?
Interesting either way. Personally, I always felt he should be a LB.

Good news, I read where Eddie Johnson is back on the roster. No word yet as to his status though. He will probably have to start Spring on the practice squad. Man I hope he can get his Sh#! together, we really need him this year! He can be a beast in the middle!

He has great sideline to sideline speed along with elite athleticism. He will never be a every down DE. So why keep that athleticism on the bench until 3rd down? His future in the NFL is likely as a 3-4 OLB. Also the coaches may feel he won't grow much more. Idk. We will find out more tomorrow about that decision.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out. It doesn't hurt to try. And spring is the best time to try these things.
He will still rush the passer a ton if the move is permanent.
