Position U!

on tos they are doing a position by position thing about what schools send the most talent to the NFL by position. so far there has been four segments and Miami has been labeled Runningback, Wide Receiver and Tight End U already! (if we didn't know that already by now ;)) i'll go on a limb and say that we are probably gonna get Linebacker U as well and be right there for Safety U. gotta think this might open some recruits eyes a little if they didn't know already, either way there's no deying the talent Miami aka NFL U produces!

Cool beans! We were 6-6 last year. I'm a little more worried about us getting back to winning championships rather then being a NFL supplemental team.

haha i'm sure we all feel the same way. the thing that was severely lacking from Shannons tender was player development and so far from what i've seen from coach golden is a big step in the right direction (perryman, chickallo, paul, eddie johnson, pierre, mcgee, scott, dorsett and a mater of time before henderson takes over at LT) . the talent has and will always be there its just a matter of coaching them up. mix that with golden's recruiting of "gym rats" and the sky is the limit imo

I agree. The whole NFLU thing will be even better once we get back to winning. But if I had to pick between having a ton of players in the nfl or championships, I'm picking championships all day, everyday!

here's something interesting that I caught
But most of [UM'd] star tight ends didn't play for Florida high schools.
Olsen comes from New Jersey. Miami landed Shockey from Oklahoma. Winslow made the coast-to-coast move from San Diego to Miami. Graham's from North Carolina. Dobard looks to continue that tradition when he arrives at Miami in 2013.

Officially known as linebacker U according to tos! Hopefully the recent publicity on a big recruiting site helps open a few blue chippers eyes that Miami is still producing the talent in the NFL and seeing all golden starting to right the ship. Either way it can only help
