  • Dude it's been time long ago. He should have gone 2 years ago. He should step down and give the job to my former coach Gino Dimare. Great recruiter and coach.

    Agreed on all that... although now it's REALLY time. Our baseball program is pathetic. (which is almost impossible)

    Hey lamp..If you can't give the man the decency of finishing the season then you're an ******. I'd expect stupid comments like that from some of these other d-bags but not from you. You're usually an intelligent guy. Very dissapointing.

    Feel free to put whatever kind of lipstick you want on this pig but the fact of the matter is mid-season firing posts, blog entries, websites and rants are just plain dumb. This is the equilateral of people saying fire Larranaga after the Fl Gulf Coast game or people saying Golden isn't right for us after the Maryland game (remember those a******?). The man has won 2 national titles amoung many, many other accolades. Give him the respect he deserves by withholding your opinion until the season ends.

    I've actually voiced my opinion for two straight offseasons. The thing is people don't care about baseball when it's not baseball season. I completely respect what he has done for this university & program. That doesn't make him untouchable though. I don't see why this has to be an elephant in the room type situation. He had his time here.. Thank you / best of luck.

The baseball program has underachieved at least the last 3 yrs. recruiting has been bad. Don't tell me that our kids are getting drafted, most team know that as well. This team like in the last 3 years has no fire. I talk to plenty of players from before and they state the same. I love 3 but there comes a time when u have to let go and let someone else take the reins. Gino Dimare loves the Canes if not more just the same a 3. Sorry for the tangent. I have never recieved down vote.

  • I wanted that 2 years ago, and now getting really frustrated. Thanks for the memories, butcha been killing us with your situational clusters, bunting your clean ups, miss use of the bull pen, recent lousy recruiting efforts, or the worst, constantly being whacked by the Gators.. I don't like to be negative, but cha gots to GO. Just my opinion.
