I'm not sure what the original poster is saying here. Is Northrup gonna be a Cane or not? Did they pull an offer or something?
But here's the real: Jimbo is VERY dirty. He has Dameyune Craig doing all the dirty work. This has nothing to do with the Jameis Winston recruitment. Bama messed that one up on their own by courting Kiel in the same class. Its more to do with their recruitment of Goldman and Chris Casher and the comments by some local Mobile high school coaches. FSU is playing the race card against the Tide. So it doesn't surprise me that they would use the NCAA against Miami.

They have some fragmented sentences and it's hard to tell who the pronouns are referring to. But the gist is that FSU is using negative recruiting as far as our sanctions go to pull in recruits like Northrup. Interested to know who else this may have been used on.
Personally, I feel as if Miami does have an idea on what the sanctions will be (not that bad) and that's how they have pulled in this top 10 class. I really think that if Miami is going to get hit hard and that they (Miami) know this, it would be wrong to lie to recruits, who most likely would be granted a transfer if the sanctions are that bad. This is all speculation but overall, I'm not big on negative recruiting and I know that Al Golden doesn't approve of it either.

Yes we would like I think that other programs have a shred of integrity and can sell a kid on their program under their own merits.
Negative recruiting is like making fun of the fat kid in school. You're so insecure in what you have to offer that you have to degrade somebody else's flaws, thinking it makes you better by comparison. If a coach isn't confident enough in his own program, that he can't sell a recruit on his school's merits alone, he's probably in the wrong profession.

You obviously dont know much about recruiting. Its a dirty game and EVERYONE is dirty to a degree. Expecting other teams not to pick on your weaknesses is completely unrealistic and getting upset about it is a waste of time. It happens all the time. Everywhere.
And as far as someone being in the wrong profession if they dont recruit the way YOU want them to, its all about the results. Guys like Kiffen are dirty as hell but they are effective and are obviously in the right profession cause they get paid top dollar. If Golden could simply badmouth FSU to a bunch of our recruits and get them to flip you guys would be ecstatic and wouldnt care how he did it.
