Not to beat a dead horse but why haven't we offered this kid? Why hasn't every school in the country offered this kid? He's fantastic! Tough, talented, intelligent. What am I missing?

Deeb, grace, debo , and
Thomas are my linebackers on my wish list.. If we get all four I will beyond wet my pants. All the talent inside of the fence time to put the master lock on the front gate again.

Matter of who coaches think is better... Deeb has been one of my favs.... Grace some consider to small ( whatever that means ) Debo is too good not to look at.... but there is a lot of LB talent this year....

One question.... Why? We don't need 4 linebackers... We hardly need 2. Personally I want Thomas and deeb. Deeb is the true ILB from what I have heard. Thomas is a monster everyone knows that. And I doubt we take too many DBs this time around but if we take grace I feel he will be a Safety.

I guess. I just don't understand. Deeb seems to be as good as gold. We'll see but I'd hate to let him get away

Because we have needs at other positions...we took a lot of backers last year. If we can get 1-2 top tier guys we will be adequate at depth. Potential scholarship reductions is the only reason i say this. If we could take 25 guys i'd say take 3-4 lb's.

His name is Deeb, not Deed. he has nike Camp on Sunday. He has been speaking to Coach D in the past week and he knows what Miami is looking for. They want him to be a 3 down LB and he is working on his lateral quickness. I spoke to him today. He likes UM and I have a feeling he will get an offer this upcoming week and will commit soon.

He is purely a MLB. Can he play OLB?
With Jermaine Grace, he can play OLB or S. Take guys who can play more than 1 position just in case of injuries/suspensions/academics that might happen to other players.

So are the rest of the LBs we have. My point is that so many of our guys are studs and we can't take too many.

I rather we get Matthew Thomas , Wendell Dunn an deeb an grace also but not going to chase someone who doesn't want to be at the U.

He's listed at 6'3 240.
I want him too as a MLB. Reminds me of that PSU/OSU tackling machine mold.
Do you think the coaches are worried about his size? That he won't be able to maintain that weight and they see him getting too big for LB and project him more as a D-Lineman...

No his size is one of his best attributes. Alabama had 270 lb LB's so 240 is not too big. He just needs to be a every down LB. He is a good one and working hard. You will get better when you practice tackling Sony Michele everyday in practice. This weekend is the Nike Camp the kid has been working out for 3 months cirlcling this day on his Calendar. Watch him run a 4.6 and turn heads. I expect and offer and commitment soon.
