I've been saying this for awhile Deeb is the typical big ten LB. Big strong guy in the middle but can't really cover in space. With the spread offenses and the athletes the ACC with Clemson, FSU,are recruiting i don't think he will fit here or get offered. A guy like Eddie Johnson should be a perfect fit for MLB for UM. Even Paul or Josh Witt could gain 15 to 20 pounds of muscle and be a good MLB. Deeb is too stiff.

Guys, the kid has heart. He took it like a man. You know what the kid said after this. Mind you this kid has this date circled on his calendar for 3 months he has been working out on weekends and after school trying to get better and trying to get that UM offer. UM is not allowed at the event but it is understood they will see tape of the event. This kid after wanting it soo bad just had a bad day out there, you know he is dissappointed. You know what he said after this happened. He thanked Taylor for making him get better and only motivated him to work harder. THAT is what being a Cane is all about. It is football you will look bad sometimes, Ray Lewis has been Pancaked, but Ray gets back up and keeps coming. Some of you guys are so quick to call someone out, never played football and probably never did anything hard. Getting good is a long process and there are many failures along the way.

Really, I refuse to think anyone is this stupid. You think in 16 years in the NFL and 3 years in college and 4 years of H.S Ray Lewis has never been pancaked? Trent Williams Pancaked him just last year. It happens to everyone, no one in sports wins 100% of their battles. I guess you think Michael Jordan never had his shot blocked too. You have shown your complete lack of football and general sports knowledge. Michael Deeb is a 4.6 guy at 237 lbs if that is not fast twitch what is? He is faster then MANY canes great LB's. You say big ten because he is white not because of his athletic ability because a 6'2 237 lb 4.6 guy is not slow twitch. He has all the tools you want in a MLB, go watch his tape. Give me the kid who not only is a great athlete but has a 3.9 GPA who's dad went to med school at UM and who trains with Former Canes like Brandon Harris. The kid is good enough for the Canes, your football knowledge is not though.

Give me Michael Deeb who lost a battle and thanked his opponet for making him better. I want him who will go to work rather then a RB who celebrates like he won the Superbowl for a good block lol this ain't even a TD or a big play, this is a freakin block in a drill and the kid acts like Ed McMahon just showed up at his door. His dad is a NFL RB u would think the kid would know how to act after makin a lil play. I loved Water Payton he would always flip the ball to ref after a TD because he knew he had been there before and would be back again, it was his job and that is what he did. Not like it was some freak moment.
