Ummmm I too think he'll be a cane, he's one of our top targets, that's been clear for a while and I know Golden is up for the challenge when it comes to competing with bama on this one, I know he can't win them all but I think he's gonna try pretty hard to not lose Thomas and in a year where we'll be signing a lot less players I'm pretty confident he can get it done, of course it's not for sure until he signs the paper but I like our chances on this one.

He is a huge canes fan. His mom is a huge canes fan. He has a great relationship with coach Barrow. He doesn't want to go far from home. He is our top priority for the coaching staff on defense.
The only reason I think he hasn't committed to us is cause he is waiting to see what sanctions we get. That's the only way he won't come here is if we get hammered by the NCAA.

I was wondering how recruits are being affected with the impending sanctions. I think Thomas will probably pick Bama based on the recent developments with linebackers making it to the league under Saban. Linebackers are the stars in the 3-4 defense and Saban makes sure they have plenty of opportunities to make plays. I think in the end bad timing is the reason why he doesn't choose Miami. But you never know when it comes to kids these days.

We are a while from signing day, so I just have my fingers crossed on this kid... He is a real stud, and not to mention he is from So. Florida... So would really hate to lose him to and out of state school... But I think AG will get him to stay home, where he belongs... I few early W's in 2012 for Golden and staff will open the flood gates with top recruits choosing to come Miami...
