Manning and the Colts parting Ways...

  • What are the Dolphins' chances of getting him? Me personally, I believe they are GREAT, especially with getting him and Reggie Wayne as a package deal. Reggie played here as a Cane, and for Manning, Stephen Ross has already informed us fans about his desire for pursuing him. So you already know that we're gonna throw a bunch of money at him, also he has a home here in Miami, and I believe he'll thrive in our new offensive system under Philbin. To any dolphins fans on here, what do yall think?

  • What the dolphins should do is, sign Manning and then draft a QB in the 2nd round. Manning has probably a good 3-4 years left of good football. Let the QB that you draft in the 2nd round learn under Manning until he retires.

    Get Reggie. He will come cheaper then the others. And he still has 3-4 years of elite football.

  • I think, & hope, it's a no-brainer. Bring in Peyton & if he wants Reggie Wayne & Jeff Saturday bring them in too. We could use a #2 receiver & someone that is a reliable third down threat in Wayne (sorry Bess) & we also need an interior lineman. Bringing in Saturday to play center would allow Pouncey to slide over to his natural right guard spot.

    Do all that and draft that RT out of Iowa in the first round. Then we have ourselves a very good o-line.

    I forgot about Saturday...dude, we'll have a beastly O-Line with one of the best QB's ever under Joe's offense. And Manning vs Brady matchup twice a year...so much ratings. Also we need to put more butts in the seats, so unless we dont trade up for RG3, Manning all the way!

  • They're better off drafting RG3 and continue to build a championship team. Still have a lot of holes to fill up. Plus, Peyton is going to cost the Phins a lot, I rather them use that to bring other good players, like another receiver, o-line, safety and another pure pass rusher. Just my opinion.rockon

    RG3 is going to cost a lot and maybe even more then Manning. The contract won't be as high but it will cost a lot of draft picks to trade up. If your team has a lot of holes, draft picks are to valuable to trade.

    I'm up in the air about who to draft. I want us to take the BPA whether the front office feels it's Reiff, Martin, DeCastro, Coples, Ingram, Kuechly... whoever but they have to be able to come in & start right away. DE, RT, & ILB are all huge holes for us.

  • Viking fan here. Imo I think you guys should go for rg3 instead and have him be the face of the franchise for hopefully 10+ years. But whatever happens, just please beat the living hell out of the patriots (new yorker, hate almost anything boston/Massachusetts affiliated lol)

    In a perfect world though the vikings would trade ponder (lol) and then get rg3 or manning.
