For the Life of me I do not know why this is not a requirement. Bill Parcells did this and many other NFL teams have instituted this. There are many studies that PROVES this reduced injuries and a brace by no means compromises performance. Some teams require them for practice and allow players to wear what they want for games. I think we need this policy, Staff could we ever pose this question to the coaching/equipment staff and see if they would consider this. I honestly can't see why they would oppose it. I understand they are expensive (approx $1,500) for each lineman but CFB is a big business now and even a small private school can afford this cost.
