I definitely agree with what's being said on this thread. However, we shouldn't forget that Forston and Streeter were redshirted (injury or non). They had four years on an under-achieving, .500 team. Searcy played on three national champion squads. I really like it when studs like Ed Reed stay their four years and try to make special things happen, but the Northwestern guys in question are part of a very different chapter of 'Cane lore. It's probably easier to stay on a team full of national champions than a team that hasn't even been to a conference championship.

Look at it this way: they're leaving with the rest of their class.
