Kehoe Must Be Called Out

  • This OL is enormous Strong Athletic and we are under achieving ... There is no excuse for it ...

  • I agree completely...We hear good things about him from people within the university, but then why does our OL suck so damn bad? Just pathetic all year long...and the rotating is just ridiculous, that really set us back this year...

  • I agree, but i didn't expect the line to be that much better in the first year. If next yr they play this way then call him out.

    I think the line will play better next yr, Hopefully.

    This whole team and every unit has underachieved so there's no reason to single out a coach or unit...everyone needs to improve both mentally and physically

  • If I was Golden, I would have kindly said to Kehoe, You see what BC offensive line is doing to my defense, That is what we are suppose to be doing to them, an then I would have walked away from him, The guys can't coach a lick an I for one have been around along time an watched his mess.

    I'm not so sure he didn't say something to that effect to Kehoe, he was gesturing in his direction pretty demonstratively mid 3rd qtr. Maybe one of the other 23 people that were at the game with me yesterday can vouch for me on that:D
    I was wildly excited they brought him back, but now I'm wondering if Coker saw something we're seeing this year. Need to see some MAJOR improvement next year. Especially, with Seantral. I know he's been injury prone, but when he was healthy, he was having trouble getting past "False Start" Feliciano?!?!
    Way too much talent on the OL to be this mediocre.

    As far as Swasey....hmmmmmm....I was always shocked that he was allowed to stay. Golden said from the get go that last year's team was woefully out of shape. Doesn't that fall on the strength and conditioning coach.
    I think we can all agree the conditioning was a thousands times better this year. So if Golden didn't give Swasey direction to drastically improve it, would we have been in the same boat? Why didn't Swasey do this on his own initiative?

  • The best, most innovative businesses fire/layoff/shed the bottom 10% of their company every year to ensure everyone's properly motivated and equally productive. IMO, our football team is no different. This program is a multi-million revenue producing machine, and realistically supports all the other sports programs on campus.
    As identified in other threads, we all know the 7-8 players who will be asked to take their talents elsewhere. That's 10% of the players. As far as the coaches, Swasey definitely needs to find employment elsewhere. That's covers the 10% for the coaches.
    That puts Art on the hot seat for next year.

  • I will say this look at Alabama offensive line an how they have pushed around the competition now the difference is they have Coach Stoutland an Trent Richardson who is a more physical back than Miller but I wouldn't say he's better than Miller just more physical, now when I look at the Talent Alabama has on the line, Would you really say they are that much more talented than our line, I wouldn't what I would say is their Coach is getting more out of them.

  • Kehoe is not out there playing.I think it needs yo be some moves on the OL,but again its another position with a lack of depth. We need to move BWash back to G and I think J Falice should be moved to G he's not athletic enough to play T. I think Linder should be move to T and he and Bunche battle it out at LT with SHend at RT.

    he has 5 rings and put players in the NFL and all that

    but our line is struggling.

    it could be because we are playing a guard at left tackle though.

  • Yes, lack of depth. Name me a 2deep OL. There is none. That why we were moving 3 guys around every wk to find to fill in spots. If u have proper depth u have to move guys around to find someone to play,and dont injuries because SHend was the only that had any major injury.

  • Our line is strugglIng in year 1, just like half the positions on our team. While we are at it, let's fire the cb coach, the TE coach, and the WR coach as well. And we should probably fire Golden too, since it's his team after all. Unlike all these guys, Kehoe is a proven commodity. Any way you define success, Kehoe has been successful. As with all the rest, he just needs time and kids that are in better shape and smarter. Judge him after 3 years.

    I agree with the Swayse firing though. Unlike the guys above, he's been failing with these kids for 5-6 years now. If there's someone better out there, go get him.

  • Kehoe was fired for a reason. The O line regressed this year and Swasey needs to go. We could also use some help at the LB position.

    The offensive line is the only group the has a tremendous amount of depth and potential stars..
    You can't say the same about another positions except maybe the WR..
    He has plenty to work with... Keble BlOWS...
