Hurns and Streeter will be a nice combo at wide out. Miller should stay and we will be great at RB. Line should get better with another year and more weight room. Perryman will the anchor at LB. Young, but better then what we had minus Spence. DL needs the most improvement. Bad line play hurts our LB's. Secondary is horrible. Worst part about the team is Rudy will probably still be covering them. Wish you were part of the Class of 08 so U would be gone too. I would take more years with J12 then with Rudy. Go Canes.

Yes he only played in two games, but Curtis Porter has been a monster in both. Stay healthy for a full season kid.

And Coach D, I'm willing to give you some time to get your scheme and players in but what was the slanting the dline out of the middle so often?

Benjamin put up a lot of stats, but he laid just as many eggs. He won't be missed. But you're wrong that Streeter, who will also definitely be back you grump, will be surrounded with unproven players. Dorset and Hurns both played a ton this year and are solid heading into next year.

Future is bright. I just can't tell whether our record improves a lot next year. I think we go to 8 wins.

No we have 5-6 wins next season. Even though we are losing some pretty bad players, we will have freshman coming. There will be growing pains next year.

Why does this board get so emotional whenever someone states their opinion on a situation and it doesn't agree with you? Especially towards Rudy.
He has at times been the pessimistic critic in the circle but he speaks with reason and fact more then disgust and disappointment. As a hard fan that all can blend together.

I've been reading Rudy's articles for awhile now and I think your being too hard on him and not appreciating his point of view no matter how much you may or may not agree. This team was a let down. Again I think the talent was there. Depth and discipline not so much. 6-6 is a let down and next season can't come soon enough.

Bottom line golden hasn't done squash and although I am happy with the extension he's received this recruiting class isn't signed yet and to date he hasn't done enough. No nothing to satisfy the desire as a fan. My 49ers are playing confident with a new coach why aren't my canes yet? I guess we will see next year for certain. We lost this game because of jacory Harris and his inability to make the big throws and his turnovers..... With that said it not much analysis saying the d sucks we know the d sucks. And if we played next week it would suck then too.
