I want LEBLANC!

  • It's as simple as what the title says, that's how i feel, i want this kid to suit up in a canes unis next yr, he has made his feelings known, the kid wants to play for the U, he has no drama, he has never waived in his interest with Miami, i mean he could easily just give up now and campaign for an offer somewhere else with how good his tape looks.

    Bottomline, everybody has been pretty darn excited and in cloud 9 right now with the pick-up of Malcolm, really because it gives everybody hope with Howard, now of course i'd take the guy in a heartbeat if in the end he decides to come here, but he has shown more interest in the Noles and Turds more than us, so since Golden has been picking up commitments lately and obviously isn't taking a wait and see approach with the highly-touted ones, why not just offer a kid that might have the same potential as Howard and Bush, that is really all i wanna say.

  • I also agree with you, I think if we dont get him, it'll be like a Patrick Peterson regrettment. He is going to be a beast in the college level. I wonder why the staff has not pull the trigger.

    That has to be and the only reason why Miami isn't extending that offer yet.

    This kid will be a beast if not here, then somewhere, i'd hate to see his talent go to waste and play for a Marshall, WVU, Memphis, Illinois, etc.

  • There has to be something that none of us knows. Because his tape is awesome. Reminded me of Ed Reed on those tapes. Yet he really doesn't have any offers. Not just no UM offer. No offers at all. I saw on one site he had a 3.2 GPA. If true it isn't his grades. Maybe he is slow? He looks fast on tape, but maybe he measured something like a 4.7 at a combine. I don't know. Reaching here. But no one has offered him.

  • He just got into trouble at Glades Central. Him, Jatavis Brown and 2 others are suspended while the County School Police do their investigation. That won't help him in his quest for an offer.

  • I certainly like Golden's style of recruiting. Fill the class 2/3 before the season. This gives you a good start on recruiting and gives you room. Then try to fill the last 1/3 in the last part of the season.

    It seems to me Shannon would try to grab many of the recruits at the end of the season which didn't provide very much insurance if something happened.
