I am just sick of the coaching display or lack of rather. They are waiting too long to make adjustments & by the time they do, it's just too late. I don't care what anyone say's-SM was not ready for that game, he took no snaps all week & was not prepared like RW was & he never evn saw the field. That was simply BS. On 2 throws in particular, all SM has to do is put some air under the ball & our guy's run right to it & maybe even score, on 1 I know they do. He is still not able to throw a touch pass, he is still staring down his main receiver & is no way playing to the level it takes to win a game like this.
So I even ? AG on this decision & I'm 100% behind him but, if they can't do any better than that then, won't matter what kind of talent we have in here. If you can not make coaching decisions as the game progresses instead of just 1/2 time then,we are gonna even be able to pick his decisions apart. This was a game that our kid's came to play, they were jacked & was ready but as I wrote before this game-our young guy's are gonna lead on the coaching during this game & IMO they flat blew it. On D we showed some progress & even a little more pressure but still not nearly enough. So if AG can not get a hold on his coord's then, this is just a mirage of what we have saw & are looking for in the future. I know he is still learning at this level too but, not like he hasn't been at this level & even played at this level. I give our guy's an A on flat out heart but I give the staff a F for not being able to make the right decisions & th main 1 was to start SM when he was clearly not even close to his best. RW was hand picked by this staff & how in the hell do you prepare him all week with the 1's & he not even get a shot when we still had a shot. THAT 1 THERE WILL HAUNT ME THE REST OF THE SEASON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear Coach-there is not 1 not 1 excuse for this call. RW prepared all week with the 1"s & to play this pos. you have to be smart & crafty & I for 1 believe RW brings this, hard to tell though when you don't even get a shot when your #1 QB is noticeably limping around & not even hitting throws that I know for a fact RW hit's.As I said-this decision by this staff will just haunt me the rest of the year. They have no excuse for not putting him in when they saw SM struggling & missing those 2 throws with our receivers streaking down the side lines that 1 would have been a huge pick up & the other a TD without a doubt. I am still at a loss bout this one.!!

I am definitely ready for the Morris era to end. We are not going to win until we get a go to QB. I don't claim to be a professed football guru but I think he checks down way to often and misses a lot of wide open throws. Our Defense obviously is not the best but a good offense keeping them off of the field would help.
I don't know how much better Morris is supposed to be the RW but I can't help believe that he would throw for a higher completion percentage. I have read they constantly that RW is not as athletic as Morris but more accurate. The accuracy would allow the offense to be more consistent and sustain more drives.
I think the staff is somewhat trapped with Morris. They wanted players to step up and be leaders and Morris was willing to take on that role. When trying to keep this team upbeat and unified how do you bench one of its' leaders? I was hoping RW would get the start, put up good numbers and allow for this transition to happen.
Here is hoping that going into next year, wether its Olsen, Dewey or Crow, that we find that go to guy because Morris is not the answer.
