PSL you're right they can wear the same # as long as they are not on the field together. Personally, I think Howard will be at a disadvantage come summer camp. The freshmen that enrolled early like Hope will have the edge in competition and he will definitely be competing with a chip on his shoulder since Howard is getting all of the attention.

The fact this kid is coming here at all still amazes me whenever he gets here he will likely be the top wheather he is truly ready or not.

not that rankings mean anything, but I thought Howard was the #1 ranked corner coming in.

Looks to me like a WIN-WIN defensive situation -- just what the fans want. Regardless who plays, he will be stronger & smarter than last year. More basic talent too. And enough bodies to build a solid rotation. The only experience you miss, is the winning tradition -- which I'm looking forward to building again.

I personally feel this was Al Golden best recruit he got, not as in talent ( not saying he isn't talented ) but as in pulling him in when UM was not really considered a player for him until the last week or so. Tip my hat to that.

this is true.
Golden basically stole Howard out of nowhere.

Too bad we don't have both Howard & Deon in for spring practices. It would've been nice for them to get in here & get some work in. The same can be said for any of our WR recruits.
