Tony and EJ are keeping options open, similar to Jamie's and MEj last year... FSU is now at the win on the field spot of recruiting, the last 2-3 years Jimbo has been able to sell to the kids that you are my guy to come change the culture. As of last night things have been worked out with EJ, Michigan has told him no more spots.

It is now time to win games for kids to keep FSU on their mind... if not I expect kids to jump ship...

The leaders to me are Brandon Jenkins , Joyner, surprisingly EJ and Bjorn Werner... What Reid brought was energy, not so much a leadership.... Reid is a very solid corner but he was more valuable IMO as a return man, he took too many chances that cost at times... he is that type player either will make a big play or give up a big play...

Joyner, Los, Rashad Green, Bracy and Darby are very capable return guys.. It will hurt us but it isn't a huge drop off..

OP, can you change the name of this thread to "FSU losing driver licenses" ?

Do you think they do that for conditioning? Hoping the players will walk everywhere?

If FSU goes 9-3 next year then Jimbo is almost for sure going to be on the hot seat going into 2013, imo. With the amount of talent on the team and the schedule if he can't win 10 or more this year he probably won't ever be able to do so. I took last years disappointing season with a grain of salt because of the massive amount of injuries but this year that excuse won't fly. Btw I agree with FSUGo, if FSU plays up to it's potential this year then recruits will come otherwise they won't and probably shouldn't.

I don't think losing Reid will have a huge impact on the defense (there are plenty of talented backup corners and this might even get Los on the field if Brooks moves back to corner). Put it to you this way, Reid without his PR skills is at best a 6th or 7th round draft pick. It will have an impact on punt returns, kid was arguably the best PR in the country and no matter how talented the kids behind him are that isn't replaceable.

Strongly disagree on the WR comment. Everyone who has ranked WR units for this year has FSU in the top 10 in the country. At RB we are thin but it is really hard to judge them because of how bad the OL was last year. EJ has tons of talent but we'll have to wait and see if the light has finally come on for him.

I guess some canes forgot about Karlos Williams return touchdown that was called back on a phantom hold last year or Joyner scoop and score that was called back because the ref's were confused and dumb.
