Eligibility question

Hey guys so a buddy of mine just invited me to an AFL Milwaukee Mustangs try-out. My question is if I just try out would that hurt or even kill my eligibility?? As many of you know Im still trying to play for our []_[] someday so IM just checking to see if that would hurt me if I did end up giving it a shot just to see how I stack up against some other guys.

If I were you I would make sure 100%, and the only way to do that is by contacting the University directly. I do know for sure that if you make $1.00 you would be inelgible. Good luck!

Yeah I know that too. But I just wanna make sure if I just TRY OUT that won't kill me. Ya know? And thats why Im so iffy about it.

I'm not sure, but to be on the safe side I would not try out if you want to have any college eligibility.

One of my buddies tried out at the Tampa Bay Storm about 5 years ago. Then went on to play d2.

but what about those minor league baseball players who came back and played in college?

on a serious note, I know several guys who have walked on to the team (one got a scholarship eventually but the others have yet to get any)
it's tough and it needs a lot of work, time, dedication.

Yeah Im not sure if Im going to do it anymore.... Apparently they want me to pay them.... lol. But anyways I changed my profile pic to me and Jermicheal Finley. I feel like Im big enough. Just gotta get my chance.
PS note the shorts Im wearing too ;)

yeah, all the dudes I mentioned got academic scholarships or some other scholarships to offset the cost. they were asked to try out when they were in high school for the team, but the team wouldn't/didn't promise them anything.

Yeah Im not sure I could get an academic scholarship and unless Miami has the yellow ribbon program that will pay the rest of my tuition it'll be really tough to actually be able to go to Miami. But. It IS possible if I establish residence in Florida. :)
