Through the Smoke

Im still hopin he comes to us though. I mean, its totally possible that he was throwin up a smokescreen. I know he's close with alot of the boys they got there at OSU. But I guess only time will tell.

To be completely honest, I have no clue. On one hand I have read that he was in fact offered, and I know he was really motivated to be a cane for a while there. But I just have no clue. It felt alot different talking to him last night than it did when I had talked to him before. We had times where he would go all out and we would talk canes for a couple hours. But last night he was talkin about how he was wondering whats goin on with all his buddies up at OSU or, what kind of playing time I thought he could get. The kids gonna play wherever he goes, and I still hope theres a shot we get him. But its all up in the air as far as I know.

Just a small example of what I was talking about, this morning DC tweeted that he was loving the weather in south beach and would send a twitpic of it for all his Ohio people. Now again. This can be taken 2 ways. 1 he is throwing dirt in the face of Ohio State fans... ORRRRRRRRRRRR He could just be giving them a shoutout. Sorry I dont have the exact quote, Ive been up all night studying so Im feelin alittle lazy right now. Anyways what Im trying to say is he's been really hard to read, but I get the feeling its gonna be Ohio State.

I have tried that, but he says he cant/wont tell me anything. The most he will say is he loves all this stuff about Miami, and up until recently he was telling me he wasnt too fond of OSU.

Kid loves his dad and really wants to follow in his footsteps. Im not gonna get on him, hes a good guy trying to figure out the best for him. I hope we get him, I think Ive made that abundantly clear. But if he doesnt wanna be here then all the power to him. Just wish him luck and beat him on the field. There will be plenty of trash talking goin on between us though if he goes to OSU. Only time will tell.
