Day 2 in Greensboro

I just got to the Coliseum and sitting courtside for the Boston College-Georgia Tech game, which begins at noon. Miami plays the winner on Friday.
Miami assistant coaches Eric Konkol, Chris Caputo, and Michael Huger are in attendance.
The team practices in the afternoon and although we won't have access to today's practice, we have more content coming including a video feature that will be pretty sharp.

Georgia Tech led by as many as 15 points in the first half.
Boston College is shooting 45.5 percent (15 of 33) and Georgia Tech is shooting 37.1 (13 of 35). Turnovers are even at six apiece, but Boston College leads 14-3 in points off turnovers.

Looking ahead. Miami beat Boston College 60-59 in Chestnut Hill on Jan. 16 after Hanlan missed a FT with 0.5 seconds left that would have sent the game to overtime. Hanlan finished with 17 points and 6 of 10 shooting.
The second game in Coral Gables wasn't close as UM won 72-50. Hanlan led the team with 16 points on 8 of 14 shooting.
Hanlan,the ACC freshman of the year, has scored in double figures in seven straight games including three 20-point games.

Great support here for N.C. State in the second game. Virginia Tech leads 21-20 with 10:05 left in this very intriguing matchup between the Wolfpack, which underachieved as the preseason pick to win the conference only to finish 11-7 as the No. 5 seed, and the Hokies led by ACC Player of the Year and the nation's leading scorer in Erick Green.
Green has hit a pair of 3s in the early going.

N.C. State up 15 with six minutes left. They look to be on their way to a Friday matchup against 4-seed Virginia, which also went 11-7, but won the tiebreaker after beating N.C. State 58-55 at home in their only meeting.
