Is he coming in under a football or baseball scholarship? I remember a thread a long time ago stating the baseball team only had a handful of scholarships to go around and some kids split those in half. Just wondering if its wise to use a scholly on him when this class has so much importance depth wise at every position and he could bolt to MLB after 1 year.. Especially since w/o him we will still have 4 underclass QB's.

I guess if they plan on redshirting Dewey and Crow it makes sense ...because their is no reason to RS thompson if it doesn't look like he'll be a 4-5 year guy.
