Dante Phillips Visiting

TOS is reporting him and he's family are visiting this weekend.. Apparently UF turned down he's appeal . His top choice is UM if it doesn't work out there are 3 SEC schools biting on his heels..

If he's visiting with the fam then there must be something to it. But as far as I can count we have 85 without AJL. If he comes he might take Dillard's spot. So unless one of them gray-shirts/prep schools it...
Here are two thoughts:
1) Considering Alex Collins is perpetually on the fence with us, it might be good for DD to come in 2013. Just sayin
2) I think one of two things happened with Phillips and UF. a) There is some sort of prerequisite that all Florida public schools require ther students to fulfill which he did not. b) The coaches didn't want him anymore and they used the admission's department to their advantage in order not to look bad.
Just thoughts.

I'm actually doubting that happens.. Just saying most the time when you see an athlete with a top 3 like that & he chooses the Marshall or West Kentucky over the BCS program, it's usually because of grades or lack of a real offer.

He has been cleared by the clearing house ... The only issue from my understanding is he qualified on a sliding scale .. He had a 2.5 grade point with a high test score..

Mr. Phillips didn't visit us this week instead he's taking a trip to western Kentucky as reported by tos. This situation has me Completely confused..
