Miami was the offer that Virginia defensive tackle Donta Wilkins always wanted. Two weeks ago the Hurricanes extended that offer to him.

As stated in the story, loyalty to the coaches who have put in the most time and effort towards recruiting him. I may not like where that puts us in his current pecking order but I can respect the sentiment behind it..

I understand a recruit being recruited by a school for a long time, but when you get a offer from your "dream school or favorite school" all that should go out the window... What's the point of loving this school so much growing up, dreaming of wearing the colors(orange and green) and you finally get that opportunity but you say I'm still open in my decision...
I just don't get it at all, most recruits that favor FSu and UF growing up; once they get a offer most of them commit.... But for some reason when it comes to Miami, recruits are very undecided!!!
"Its my dream school growing up, I've always dreamed of being a Hurricane as a kid" Now I have a offer slapping me in the face from Miami and I'm still interested in other schools......
How many recruits have we heard this from?? He won't be the last!!!!

Wasn't to long ago he had a top3 of va Miami and penny state. Va has let go of some of their staff that recruited him and he is mad about that something to keep a eye on.

Yeah they left its on the va site. He didn't like it.

Yep as I have noted, Miami is doing a hell of a job on these OV's & I hope he comes on a weekend with other big talent. This is def. a kid who would help us 7 ya gotta love that size. AG really hit's his stomping grounds too , where he has coached & where he is from. He knows these areas & the HS's that put out top talent. With out DT pos. being wide open right now-this could be a commit on the spot kid with the way AG-staff & team have been doing on our recent OV's. If this kid comes-I like our chances & he is sure a biggen already & with some time here-Just start turning alot of that weight into muscle & getting his speed up. Sounds like a kid who can hold his own in the middle & even get after the QB-JUST WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR !!!
