Im not trying to be a jerk but do you not see the contrdiction in what you jsut said? you dont think its fair to judge Bailey after 4 college years and 1 season of NFL football, but you think Vernon will be a stud based on 2 and a half years of inconsistent performance at the college level...how does that reasoning work? I dont think I watched a Chiefs game all season but Bailey played in every game and had 8 tackles and 1 sack at DE. dont really see how that is promising...

Dude, are you serious?
Have you seen the coaching UM has had in the last 5 years? Its been terrible.
He will receive much better coaching in the NFL. Thats what most of these kids need.
Look at Sam Shields. He was terrible at UM. Now he is a vital piece to Green Bay's secondary. All he needed was coaching. The Green Bay coaches came out and said Shields didn't even know how to properly watch film when he arrived there.
Many of these kids will see better years once they get better coaching.
There is absolutely no contradiction in what I said. Its simple. Our coaching has probably been the worst ever during the RS era. Teams are drafting these kids because they see the potential if they just receive good coaching.

first off, I am serious. secondly, im not too impressed with your reading comprehension. I never even implied anything about coaching. Here are detailed explanations though of how you contradicted yourself.
1. you said that it was too early for me to judge the prospects of Bailey's NFL career, even though he has 5 years of games to base an opinion on (and 1 NFL season), but then right after saying that, you said that VErnon is going to be an NFL stud, even though he has only 2+ years of games to base that opinion on (and no NFL games). how is it too early for me to judge Bailey but not too ealry for you to judge VErnon?? If you dont see a contradiction in that, theres nothing I can do about that becasue its practically the definition of it. 2. as long as you brought up coaching though, both Vernon and BAiley were recruited and coached by the same coaches at Miami (except for the few games this year, in which Vernon didnt show any improvements), so how can you automatically think Vernon will flourish under new coaching when Bailey is just as much, if not more, of a physical freak and he has only gotten less productive in the pros under new coaching?
LAstly, Shields is always the example taht gets brought up but maybe part of the reason he didnt know how to study tape was that he only played CB for one season and most of that time was probably spent teaching him the fundamentals of being a CB, playing defense and learning the schemes. msot of the time coaches are going to keep things simple for a guy switching from a WR to CB in his senior year, not try to bombard him with the high-end details. And obviously the most improvement is going to be seen in the first couple years after he switched to the position. some people always point to him and Graham as examples of bad coaching at UM but they both only played 1 year of the position in which they now play in the NFL, so theres a hundred other variable as to why they are good int he NFL but struggled at UM.

thanks for the insight...and youre basing their natural ability on what again? and If you cant teach natural talent and youre correct that Vernon has more, then what does coaching have to do with anything? Vernon would have had a better college career too, which he didnt becasue BAiley's ONE MOVE at least got him on the ACC 1st team and the 2nd team the next year.

lulz whatever dude. I'm willing to bet that Vernon will go higher then Bailey in the draft.
If Vernon had a full year this year and stayed for his senior year, there is no telling the accolades Vernon could have achieved. But we will never know.
I'm done with this debate.

yeah, there is no telling, because he was suspended and chose to leave early...and this isnt even a debate because you started out by talking about how good he his, then go off on coaching, then talk about their natural ability, now youre talking about who gets drafted higher. your only answer to my points or questions were "whatever dude" and then youd start talking about something completely different. so youre right, Im done
