I feel like some people may be planting false things about Alex Collins and his coach. We cannot bash this young man or his coach because this has gotten back on twitter and now Arkansas fans are tweeting Collins and saying things like , " look how UM fans treat your coach" " come to Arkansas".... basically sh*t like that
Whether you like Gatewood or not he will have some sort of impact on where Collins goes...
one thing that I know will not make an impact are the fans on twitter
Brick by Brick
"There's going to be a lot of people who didn't stand with us who are going to be remembered for not standing with us,"
When AC is retweeting these things it definitly means hes reading them....thats all
Really? I just went on the Arkansas site and the last post featuring Collins name was the article written on him a couple of days ago. And the last post on that article is 17 hours ago. Now maybe there are some random posts on other threads, but it seems to me the Arkansas fans really don't care about Alex Collins. Good or bad, we here at Miami have a very strong interest in this kid. And the only negative comments come from disgruntled fans who feel slighted that this hometown kid is being misled by a coach with an agenda. But the fact is, we all would love to have this kid playing alongside Duke next year and we care when one of our own gets away.
Then again, he can go to Arkansas where they care more about naming their board than this kid.
Yup I wish these grown men would stop Tweeting to recruits, It's embarrassing and it does more harm then good
Twitter is killing recruiting. And it will only get worse....
Social Media will destroy the relationships that Coaches have worked so hard to build due to overzealous fans, I for one don't do twitter and I wouldn't take the time to harass an 17 to 18 year old to attend Miami.
I realize we all have choices to make some or good and some or bad, It is up to each individual to choose cause at the end of the day, you will have to go their 4 to5 years and you better like your major and your atmosphere.
One thing I do remember what Randy Shannon said, He basically said kids who want to go to Miami will and those who don't won't, Now you can say well he didn't really care about recruiting but each guy has to do this job in order to win.
I have twitter but I follow just mods for recruiting up dates. I would not follow players or recruits. It only adds to their love of themselves. These young kids need to be taught humility.
This my friend is TRUE. Explains why KB thinks he's that dude . +1 Humility is unnderrated. Running your mouf without proving yourself=The New Norm

Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lesson afterwards.
