I can see most of you just want to argue by not being able to provide any substantial information to validate your statements. Therefore, I am going to withdraw from the conversation to eliminate any escalation of tempers and flaming.
Good luck this year.
Lol and then what happened when your big bad SEC defense left the state of Florida for a far away game in New Orleans....oh yeah you got smoked by a Big East team
I guess that's why you guys don't travel much
I mean this is called inside the U. What did you expect to come over here and have the gators praised? Sure that will happen right after hell freezes over. Yes one great team because in the face of adversity they get it done and grind it out when it counts.
UF is a despicable football program from the Gator Flop to a long history of unsportsmanlike behavior. It has a wandering monolithic ugly campus devoid of character with a local DA who covers for the numerous felons that have populated the football team in the last 5 years. Its Med school is second rate compared to the U and its undergrad program is underfunded with large class sizes and a slumping academic rating. That does not stop it from bestowing inflated salaries to its football coaches at the expense of its own students. It hasnt played OOC out of state since 1991.Thats the most cowardly football program in the country bar none. When you guarantee 4 home wins by paying off patsies a year thats fraud. They are a great example of why college football is a racket where money buys a good record and the behavior of athletes (50 UF arrests in 5 years.) is secondary to success on the field.
i dont really see why it matters if they consistently play 1 of the hardest schedules in the country
being in the sec and having teams like LSU, UGA, & FSU on the schedule every yr make it a good schedule even if you fill the open slots with cup cakes especially when those teams are all good like they are right now

1.) You guys play Savannah State in 2013. You planned it. It was not a last minute switch like what FSU had to do. That is a hypocritical statement.
2.) Kentucky, Vandy, and UT are in the SEC East, therefor we HAVE to play them every year. We rotate teams from the SEC West but we fought to keep LSU a permanent opponent. scared, huh? You guys should know about conference divisional opponents. Are you new to college football? UGA always has the easiest SEC schedule and Bama had a cakewalk this year also.
3.) Ever been to Jacksonville? There is as many, if not more, UGA fans up there as there is UF fans.
This is all about home games, which drive revenue. Some of you have examples of other SEC schools that travel to other states, Bama, LSU, Auburn. Name me one school in any of his states that have a instate school remotely to th level of an FSU that any of those schools play?
The point is UF is not going to play FSU every year and also lose a home game so they can travel out of state to play a game and lose all that money when they all ready play one of the hardest schedules every year.
All I'm trying to say is Florida should schedule a home and away with someone exciting, like Oregon, Stanford, Texas, TCU, etc. As a college football fan, I would like to see any of those match ups. Its been 23 years and counting...
IT"S A MONEY ISSUE. Did you not read Bitter's post? Unless we get rid of FSU, we will not schedule another home and home. Boosters will not take fewer than 7 home games, and doing so would drop us. Plus, we would lose revenue for the game we dropped, which is 90,000 times at least the minimum of $50. So no, it is not about us being scared. Our football team and athletics in general raises so much money we give it back to our University and schools, so the sabrose guy that posted is full of sh*t and has no clue what he is talking about. It's about money, not who wants to play and who others think we should play.

bro, how deep are you riding that ski in the water?
I can't wait until this all gets settled on Sept. 7th. The good news is that there should be plenty of seats available for those of us in Orange and Blue
Who replaces gillislee, bostic, elam, easley, n Floyd?
Jones, Taylor, Maye, Riggs, RoPo, Fowler, Morrison. We've got some options but replacing Elam and Floyd won't be easy. Oh and Easley doesn't need replacing, he's coming back
must be your first year as a gator fan..
only a matter of time before you remove FSU from your schedule too,.
Carter and sometimes Bill Baskin
just make sure you abide by the Gator dress code.
Who's gonna stop Duke Johnson?
Don't get me wrong Duke was someone I wanted at Florida BAD, but he rushed for 947 yards against the ACC, THE ACC! Meanwhile Florida was I think 2 in the country against the run. I think they will be fine.
Just like there was in 2003 when you came down here and blew a 23 point lead remember that??? I sure do...
I also remember coming up to Hicksville in 2002 and watching Dorsey and McGahee absolutely curb stop your #5 ranked team...
A lot of tough talk, especially from a team that was eating humble pie after their Sugar Bowl Massacre...ohhh yeah y'all were talking a big game about how you were gunna destroy Louisville
Why do you guys always go back to a minimum of 10 years ago? We are talking about the present.
U think ur still gonna be #2 without bostic, Floyd, n elam?
Before the last game u guys won, he had u 6 times in a row... Last time was New years Ever 2004 we beat u down in the Georgia Dome...
#dilusional... don't think u realize the impact of those guys... Floyd was ur best player on d since... Ever... and that's saying something cause those urban meyer teams were stacked on D...
