AP sources all over twitter saying the allegation letter has arrived...should be interesting
Good day of news
ALL ABOUT THE U
Since Miami is a private institution it does not have to release anything
This is good news coming so soon after the internal investigation in my opinion. It seems reasonable to think shalala got what she wanted and the NCAA is going to stop the investigation and cut their losses before they lose anymore credibility. I'm thinking that a sentence of time served or something very close to that is a logical conclusion
It will have no additional sanctions outside of what we self imposed. There is too much doubt that the improper obtainment of information stops at 20% and the NCAA knows this. The letter at this point is a farce and a sad attempt to save a shred of dignity by the NCAA. I bet it reads something like we at the NCAA find that the self imposed sanctions by Miami are sufficient enough in correlation with the evidence found and it is in the best interest of the NCAA and the University of Miami to officially close this case without further punishment or investigation. P.S. We will fire Emmert after his public apology to the University of Miami, it's athletic department, and its fans.

Correct. It will play out through formal procedures to keep the basic framework of the NCAA intact. If it doesnt end swiftly the U will raise havoc.
It would be hard to believe that the NCAA really wants to come down hard and then force the U to enter legal recourse and there would be months if not years of media headlines and stories on the NCAA during the trial/hearings.
Will we release it??? that is the question
AP Source: Notice of allegations against Miami includes the dreaded "lack of institutional control" charge. Tim Reynolds latest tweet....
They would...considering that describes that whole institution.
so what does that mean as far as sanctions?
This is good news. No way are we getting hammered now. The NCAA admits guilt and then we get the NOA the next day?? There is a reason for this. I am looking forward to my CANES posting 10 wins and a Gator A%^ whipping at SLS. It's a great day Canes. We start our march back to our rightful place in college football. Here's to Golden accepting an NFL head coaching job in 4 years. Signing the contract with his national title ring on!!!!!! Im cool with that.
That's really blows
"The NCAA has called some of coaches from Shapiro scandal & notified them of charges, which are same as detailed last month, per source." Tim Reynolds
I find it laughable that after all this ish that they come with the same junk; these clowns are untouchable apparently.
Oh the irony...
USC doesn't cooperate and they get a 2 year bowl ban, we cooperate sacrifice 2 bowls/ACC Championship and looks like we're getting a 3rd. Screw you NCAA
Not feeling good about this
