Question for the Staff or anybody who may know..
But where does all this talk of Danny Dillard or Gus Edwards being the fullback come from as opposed to serving as a bigger back in the offense? I know they're both bigger guys, but is it speculation based on their size or does it come from comments made by the staff?
Well Gus is the #1 FB in the nation. Dillard is just too slow to play rb
Where is he listed as a fullback?
Gotcha, that must be beyond my viewership. On ESPN, Scout, Rivals, & obviously 247 he's a RB so I was kinda confused. Thanks though.
On rivals he's #1 FB in the united states.
Either every kid in NY is ridiculously slow or this kid is playing RB he has good speed and legit RB skill set i highly doubt he is here to play FB only way he plays FB is if he gets to big. Now Dillard on the other hand may I recall golden saying he would get a look there in the spring the only thing i think would hold him back from putting Dillard at FB would be his height most FB are shorter guys he is 6'2 and leverage is a big part of being a FB
Safe to Say This is Safety U Respect it
Envy the past, Fear the future
Gus could certainly play FB but he has the skillset of a RB. He's fast, good vision, great feet, shifty for his size, and runs with power. His tape is very impressive.
Brick by Brick
"There's going to be a lot of people who didn't stand with us who are going to be remembered for not standing with us,"
Gus will play rb Danny Dillard will make the transition to fb like hagens did.
ALL ABOUT THE U
Remember we still have Hagens this year so there's no need to move either of them to FB. Give them a chance at RB & if it doesn't work out then slide them over to FB.
Gus is like Lonny Pryor can basically do everything a fb can do but has rb skillsets just FSU never used him right trust i saw him in the Orange Bowl and i said he's a 1000 yard ruher who never get a chance
I'd like to compare Gus to Najeh Davenport... Can run, block, and run routes out the backfield... What do y'all think?
Najeh was much faster and Gus was out of state so i didnt see him much so i say its unfair in that sense you gotta remember that Najeh was a MONSTER in high school
Najeh was from North Carolina bro
Najea is from Miami. I believe Central not North Carolina
im saying Gus was out of state but i didn't see him much, whe i grew up my brother used to tellme that Najeh was great in high school this time a month ago i never even heard of Gus so how can you compare? thats what i mean

Ur right my bad I knew he wasn't born here always used to see that... Anyway I think as far as size and skill set they are comparable...
True, but i said lonny because if you say Najeh now then you're bringing huge expectations and idk if he can be that guy i just haven't seen enough but i think he has big upside
Najeh definitely from Miami he went to middle school with my older brother and he came over a couple times too
Ur right my bad...
(He was raised here ur right... Born in NC...)
