If RAY JR EVER GOT A FULL RIDE-DADY'S GONNA BE THERE-I PROMISED HIM & I WON'T MISS IT- SOUNDING BETTER ALL THE TIME WHAT WE ARE JUST DREAMING OF-
SR RUNNING THROUGH THAT SMOKE AGAIN WITH THE "CANES" WHAT A SIGHT THAT WOULD BE OR SHOULD I SAY" WILL BE" !!!
CANE 4 LIFE & BEYOND !! I BLEED ORANGE & LIVE GREEN !!!!
sounds good.. something to think about is if Al is offering a scholly instead of him walking on. We all know he can afford it and we are short on schollies this year... what do u guys think ?
Try not to read too much into what he said. Doesn't mean he will be coaching or anything like that. It is best not to get your hopes up and just things happen if they happen
I think Ray will end up working with UM in some form. From his interview, it sounds like he will be more involved with his kids now that playing ball is done. Even having him at day to day practices, just his presence would do wonders. I'm a Nole but Ray Lewis gets mad respect from me. The dude was a beast and all around inspirational dude.
The kid earned a scholarship so let him keep it. Sure his dad could pay for it but who wants to give up thousands of dollars when they don't have to?
RLIII is gonna redshirt in 2013 so Ray Lewis should play one more season then hang em up.
I agree with u man. But that kind of money is chump change to him. And that scholie is gold for any other recruit. Specially for this class
I believe the man is gonna be here in some way-he is gonna do all he can to make sure JR get's that ring here that eluded him. He may wanna take a break & they may pin recruiting coord on him for now but-that would be just alright with me. Just the possibility of him coaching here is gonna really catch some kid's att. & might even be so strong to pull a kid or 2 that we didn't think we had any chance on. I know there is a lot of news going on with us & some big time prospects right now.
Being a recruiting coordinator isn't going to allow him to take a break
New AD possibly?
"Live Threw Me ST26"
Agree completely. That would be a great donation on rays part
This is somewhat similar to the debate had when Diddy's son got a full ride to UCLA. As a parent, even if you have the money, it's probably better to not take away the achievement earned by your kid. This isn't about the University of Miami in this case, it's about recognition of achievements by RL3. Scholarships are earned, and the kid did so through his work ethic, stats, and school. I'm not going to pretend that who is father is didn't help his cause, that would be dumb of me. But if he was given the scholarship he should keep it, not just have to pay because he can afford it. If that's the case, I'm sure the Olsen family could probably put KO through school too, should he give up his? Doubtful.
Well I don't know if he will do it like I said earlier being a broadcaster pays good and is much less stressful. We will see because they four letter says they offered him an contract
