Pro Day is tomorrow.. THoughts?
Lamarr needs to run a 4.3, Vernon needs a to run a 4.60
Spence has to do more than 12 reps
Spence could go mid 2nd round with a great performance. Same for T. Streets and maybe even Vernon.
not for his own benefit but for the sake of our strength and conditioning program.
University of Miami Class of 2013
I shutter to think how low Spence's BP number was before Al Golden arrived.
Maybe 4 or 5.
It makes sense that players are getting stronger because now they are working out and eating like premier athletes.
Just imagine if Spence had another year of eligibility, I bet he would've came back. Another year of UTough would've done him wonders.
Only the greats play here
When is Washington projected to go? Haven't heard much on him and I thought he was one of the higher ranked guards??
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
Washington was early projected as 2nd round, now he seems to have fallen a little due to combine and lack of playing guard last year. He should still go in round 3. Spence is still a likely 3rd.
I was with B.Washington's cousin yesterday. He told me if he doesn't go in the 2nd round hes' going to fire Drew Rosenhouse..
Drew didn't lie to him, most early reports had Washington as the #3 OG and a sure fire 2nd rounder. It seems like his stock has fallen recently (after combine), but that's not Drew's fault. Washington needs to show the NFL he is willing to put in the work.
That's why they have a little something called an NFL draft advisory committee.
You know, so players can have an idea about where they'll be drafted.
Did anyone wait to hear back from that committee before they jumped ship?
So he's going to fire his agent because he performed horrible at the combine? It's his fault his draft stock dropped, I see him dropping out the 1st 3 rounds
+1 He was a 2nd round pick till the combine. He needs to take responsibility for his own actions or lack there of. If I was Drew I would drop him as a client. But, Drew's ego won't let that happen. Drew is going to try his best to get him drafted as high as possible. But, it looks to be like round 3 for him. He needs to really show the NFL that he is committed to working out and getting better. Drew can't do that for him.
I'm very curious to see how Ojomo and Futch do in their testing.
Futch weighed in at 6' and 245lbs and Ojomo 6'3" 255lbs.
I'm thinking Futch is going to test out very well and could be
our next Darrell McGlover.
