He's just a system QB. He'll do good in a west coast type offense, where he's only throwing 5-10 yards down field, just like his High School coach.
He was only a ESPN 150 QB because he got invited to the UA game, which is an ESPN event
He got invited to the UA game as well you're right, thanks for helping me make my point.
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
Wish him the best... opens up another schollie for us!
I knew either Dewey or Crow would transfer I just didnt know it would be this fast but oh well
He also missed most if not all of his senior season with a shoulder injury if i remember correct.

He knew he was never going to make it!

+1......give me Braynon Edwards out of Gulliver. The kid has the makeup to end up like the greats at THE U!
We heard that before. How about seein them compete collegiately first
100% agree I was just saying to offer the kid. No telling how anyone will end up once they get to the collegiate level!
Yall are saying "give me another DT" as if they're lining up to commit here lol.

Envy the past, Fear the future
Recruiting is very fluid year to year. If we do end up getting 3-4 DT's would that be considered lining up to come here?
Not the least bit
Bet you a Mountain Dew we'll get Crow into a couple games this year & he'll throw at least one pass. Guesses are either against FAU or more likely Savannah St.
That should leave two open schollies.
In 2010 and 2011 we couldn't sniff a quality DB and everybody was saying the same thing about that position. 2012 and 2013 rolled in and we got Bush, Howard, Burns, Carter.....guys weren't lining up to come here in 10' & 11' but they sure did line up the next 2 years. We may not be where we want to be with our DT's but it doesn't mean it can't change from year to year. Recruiting changes from year to year according to what players are at what school with what coach etc. The potential to get Clark and Valentine along with a couple of more guys can turn that around for us!

Also, after UM granted Preston Dewey permission this week to find another school - and after talking to other schools - his father said...
... he has decided to stay at UM after all, even if he doesn't play.
Damn!!! Could have sure used that scholly.
they should cut him
For what? they allowed him to look around so why would they be mad?
