Negative my friend....negative.lol
Honestly....i.just like to argue.....however i fully support Golden and staff.....i really hope he gets Us back.to.championships...but he do need to stop switching position and give coach D this last chance to improve! Had fun fellas....may the force be with U
Usually premiere players make it in the NFL.
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.

Stars did not work for randy Shannon. Hard work should have.
I agree with you , Washington was a top 10 guard amongst his junior peers in 2011. Everything I stated was fact not opinion so I don't understand how your comprehension of that alludes to me not know much about football? Washington had a choice, he didn't have to play LT or he could have sulked which probably would have lead to him being suspended/transferring out. If Golden didn't open up a fall competition for the tackle positions we would've been in trouble. Do you think Jacory would've had as good a year as he did with Figueroa or freshman Bunche at LT? Jacory wouldn't have lasted two games. The team is more important than one individual. Orlando Franklin did it the year before going from LG to LT & is now a top 5 RT in the pros (according to ProFootball Focus). Colin McCarthy, Sean Spence, & Denzel Perryman all moved from OLB to ILB for the good of the team. Tim Tebow returned to Florida to become an NFL QB, Urban gave it a whirl but when Tebow didn't develop like he needed to Urban reverted the offense back for the good of the team. College & pro teams do it all the time, here's a sample:
Braden Albert, Virginia - LG in college/LT in pros
Jason Peters, Arkansas - TE in college/LT in pros
Von Miller, Texas A&M - WDE in college/SLB in pros
Jarius Byrd, Oregon - CB in college/FS in pros
Mathias Kiwanuka, Boston College - WDE in college/SLB in pros
Jared Odrick, Penn St - DT in college/SDE in pros
Kelechi Osemele, Iowa St - LT in college/LG in pros
Hines Ward, Georgia - QB in college/WR in pros
Michael Robinson, Penn St - QB in college/FB in pros
Brian Urlacher, New Mexico - SS in college/ILB in pros
Henry Melton, Texas - FB in college/DT in pros
Tyron Smith, USC - RT in college/LT in pros
Malcolm Jenkins, Ohio St - CB in college/FS in pros
Just from The U:
Eric Winston - LT in college (started as a TE)/RT in pros
Antrell Rolle - CB in college/FS in pros
Devin Hester - CB in college/WR in pros
Brandon Meriweather - CB in college/FS in pros
Sam Shields - WR, 1 year at CB in college/CB in pros
DJ Williams - started as a RB ended up at SLB
Willis McGahee - started as a FB ended up at RB
The only person to blame for Brandon Washington's career thus far is Brandon Washington, not Golden. It's all about getting your shot & Brandon had his & still has a chance. Regardless of if where he was drafted, though he was a 6th rounder, he was on a team with the worst offensive line in football & couldn't cut it. Now he's on the Rams with an even more depressing situation at guard. We'll see if he works hard to achieve something in the NFL or just goes down as another failure of the Northwestern eight (save for Spence).
Thus far I agree with you about Golden.being a hardworker, loyal, and decent recruiter but he needs to develop players. Only time will tell as this is only the start of his third season.

Envy the past, Fear the future
713cane it is you who does not know anything about football.... players switch positions all the time, some requested by coaches, some requested by players.
Golden is making the best decisions for HIS team that he is paid to make better.
Just wasted 45 seconds of my life on this thread. Thanks 713Cane.
Dauthebest....clown.....i been playing football since i was a kid....i was a pretty high selection in the draft...fat boy..can u read? Im not against players switching positions....duh...i was changed from running back to db...b washington was tne number 1 guard....rated in the draft....according to kiper....why switch him??? Crawford went from defense...to offense....to defense......whats thethe purpose ofof him changing more than once????? Hes a natural db...leave him there.........so....no nothing is wrong with changing positions....but be fair and have a purpose! Understand football logistics before commenting on my post..dumb A$$..
Curious about this but if you were a high pick who are you?
Its really hard to being on this board talking to fansfans about football...i believe some of you.guys were successful in football and may have played pro ball..college..or even successful on a highschool level...but thats a very small.percentage..how can.the info im giving be that confusing??? If you really know football.....yes adrian II did played....69 th pick overall in a draft..i decline to say what year..cause i dont want to u....not to be rude....
Soooooooo basically you were the 69th pick in your head and you dont know the year ok
It is pretty simple...it is Al team....that is what you fail to realize.... Mel Kiper isn't the HC for Miami or any other NFL scout/analyst....if Al feels Washington betters the team at tackle so be it... same for Crawford... drafted and played in the nfl my ass.... if you did the you would understand the dynamics of what is taking place...
scenario 1. wasn't a Hurricane
scenario 2. can't remember when he was actually selected
scenario 3. i got lost in the long list of Hurricanes that played in the NFL
scenario 4. the data linked is incorrect
me,.. i'm banking on #5, followed by #1. its also entirely possible that its #3 also but to my defense i only skimmed through it. either way its impressive to look down the list of Miami success!

Carter and sometimes Bill Baskin
i hate when people talk about free education. there is nothing free. they put many hours into honing there craft which in turn generates millions of dollars for the university, your looking at football from a fans perspective and not from the players prospective. the university isnt gonna pay his bills in the future so the coaches need to look out for the players future and if not the coaches then the player has to take it into there own hands...that was his point which is very valid
