This is in no way meant to be a prediction or a troll...
What would your feelings be about your class and Golden if all/most of these prospects ended up elsewhere?
Thomas (FSU, Bama)
Collins (Arkansas, UF)
Coley (FSU, Ole Miss)
I'm simply curious of what your perception of the program would be. As things currently stand, I expect y'all to land at least Collins.
What would be my feelings? Id jump off a building wearing an Al Golden tie.
Lebron and Dwayne Wade at the Canes basketball game
In all seriousness though, If we were to hypothetically miss out on everyone, would be extremely upsetting, but their are so many other players that we can sign. Not saying they would be as good as the ones you mentioned. But pretty solid targets such as Skai Moore (LB), Darius Tice(RB), Daryl Chestnut (RB), Cunningham (WR), Alex Montgomery (WR), we already have 3 OL commits. Luckily we are based in South Florida so there is plenty of talent waiting on an offer. Losing out on Mathew Thomas would be the biggest blow and quite frankly he's kind of irreplaceable. Same can be said for Collins I guess.
I know you said that wasnt a prediction what you posted, but no way do 4 out of 5 of the guys go to FSU. Definitely Bryant is all FSU and MAYBE Coley.

Bryant (FSU) Please take this headcase off our hands
Thomas (FSU, Bama) He's ours..i hope.
Kirkland (FSU) who knows
Collins (Arkansas, UF) who knows
Coley (FSU, Ole Miss) who knows
Collins and Thomas are really our only true needs for this class....if we don't land Thomas we will need to replace him with another LB who can take some reps in year 1. Collins would be a great compliment to Duke but i don't think we're in trouble at RB without him. WR is a luxury, OL has been adressed but obviously Kirkland is a stud nobody would want to pass up, and Bryant...smh....i don't like him, i don't think we need him, and i think he's overrated on paper, the field, and his head.
Golden clearly pulled no punches targeting major players across the US this cycle...whether or not we land the majority of them clearly we are going to be a major player moving forward. Once we have the sanctions ???'s behind us we are poised to contend for top 5 recruiting classes every year.
Brick by Brick
"There's going to be a lot of people who didn't stand with us who are going to be remembered for not standing with us,"
Long as we get collins and Thomas I don't give a fuk
ALL ABOUT THE U
Don't get afraid now I know u see those contractors building that huge fence on 95 south from WPB to HOMESTEAD back through the MUCK all them boys throwing the U up just wait after this weekend
CANE 4 LIFE & BEYOND !! I BLEED ORANGE & LIVE GREEN !!!!
Thomas - Make me want to hang myself. Really have to question Golden's ability to close on "must get" recruits
Collins - Very upset, he has been my #1 RB in this class since 2011. Hopefully Golden has a plan B that can play right away.
Kirkland - Very Surprised, thought he was all Cane (gotta give credit to Ira Denson for this one), but I wouldn't be that worried about it as long as we got the top 2 on the list.
Bryant - Big need but I really don't care about him at this point, as long as we get Khairi Clark next year we will be fine.
Coley - This is a bonus pick, we didn't really want a WR until AJL couldn't qualify. Next years class is loaded.
Sure has been taking a long time for that fence to be built. Same people building this fence must be the same people building the fence along the Mexican border
I want to know what your perception of FSU's program will be when they don't land any of those guys.
According to TOS, unless Thomas visited FSU already, they arent in his OV list.
Envy the past, Fear the future
That was a mistake, he is not visiting USC. He will visit us this weekend, then FSpoopoo and the UGay
Surprised, if we don't land Bryant or Coley. I wouldn't really be worried though because we are pretty set at DT and WR. Thomas would be big because we need LBs but we already have 4 good ones committed with Ngakoue looking very likely as well. We would also need to get at least 2 more OL. I wouldn't be all the upset because after losing 5 coaches the expectations shouldn't be a top 5 class, we also have tons of talent already on the roster. It would make 2014 a critical class for us, we are fortunately already off to a good start there.
Nope it's going just make sure you're on the rite side of it once it goes up noo time for them okee pokee fans
Well I have been hearing about this fence for close to 7 years now. Guess I will have to wait and see if it actually gets put up.
Thomas & Kirkland are Canes. Coley was a Nole all along. Collins should end up a Cane. Not sure on Bryant but my gut is FSU. We will sign Bostwick though. (who I'd rather have of the two) Cunningham will go to Stanford. Grace to Miami along w/ maybe a punter. (Hill-Irwin)
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
Does anyone know if Treadwell is coming on an OV?
Couldn't have said it better.
This is the kind of stuff I was really hoping to see. Thanks for the responses though. Not to sure why I'm being down voted for asking a question.
I definitely think y'all have as good a shot as anyone landing Thomas/Kirkland, but I wouldn't be surprised if we did either.
I can't read VIP posts for those of you have posted VIP.
I asked because last year many of the gator fans were down on Muschamp after NSD when they didn't land guys like Agholor, Diggs and Howard.
I'll say this, there will be many fans on our board who will want Jimbo's head if we lose out on the majority of:
Bower (AU commit)
Thomas (UM, Bama)
Kirkland (UM, USF, Ole Miss)
Coley (UM, Ole Miss)
Ngakoue (UMd, UM)
Tunsil (UGA, Bama)
Jackson (Bama, Tenn)
Ramsey (USC commit, UF)
It's a perception thing, many would feel like we didn't meet our needs. That's what I was curious about in regards to those recruits and you guys.
