It is now being reported on TOS that Kirkland has a meeting with golden set for 3 PM today
And the Drama continues.. I hope Golden sticks to his guns and lets Denver know that he'd love to have him at THE U but he needs to make a decision b/c of small numbers for this class
This is to me wat happens they ask him to be a silent commit and everybody shakes on it and if he doesn't go with it he will go through hell on NSD but if he does silent more then likely its the truth no matter its drama
I expect to hear absolutely nothing from this...
Just announced today on WQAM ( currently listening) that there will be a meeting 03:00 at the university of Miami with coach ALGolden and Kirkland's family. The radio host used manny Navarro, as his source per twitter.... Take it with a grain of salt!
It's all about the U!
In the Miami herald
Kirkland drama continues; family to meet with UM coaches at 3 p.m.
Been a crazy 72 hours to say the least. But this is what recruiting is all about.
According to Shanton Crummie, the stepfather of Booker T. Washington All-American offensive lineman Denver Kirkland, UM coaches have agreed to meet with the 6-5, 330-pound senior and his family at 3 p.m. to discuss the situation and see if a resolution can be reached.
Canesport.com first reported the meeting.
"We're just going to go down there as a family, me, his mom and Denver and talk things through," Crummie said.
Crummie told Brandon Odoi of CanesInsider earlier this morning UM coaches reached out to him Friday to discuss the situation and after taking time Kirkland told them he was moving on and choosing between Arkansas and Florida State.
UM coaches then reached back out to Crummie this morning -- he said assistant Micheal Barrow called him around 11 a.m. -- to see if Kirkland was willing to come in for a meeting. The family agreed.
Recruiting is a crazy game. Stay tuned.

...........Even sponge knows its about the U
Hope this doesn't backfire on us
3am is awful early to be meeting. :)
Lol sorry, i almost place 1500 instead of 3 PM
Just hacking on ya. I knew it was a typo. Gotta be able to laugh at something this time of year.
Take it for what it is guys but in the radio station WQAM, the radio host is saying that Kirkland is back on board... Wtf freaking recruiting aaaasahhhh
highly doubt it...completely stupid assumption. miami made a stmt when they pulled the scholarship.
if anyone is requesting a meeting it would be dk&fam, not miami. limited spaces available and sorry but this is a #s game to manage roster.
you were interviewed and offered the job....it is on "YOU" to accept or decline the job, nobody else. if he wanted to accept he could have said so in secret and explained the 4ltr entertainment deal for nsd morning.
the only way he gets scholarship offer again is through a rock solid commitment!?! ... and who knows. otherwise, good luck.
Miami doesn't have to explain anything to anyone. He "NEVER" committed in the first place. the guy who interviewed you has to move on at some point to fill the positions of need!
Idk why else DK would be meeting with them unless he wanted in. He obviously wants to come to Miami or none of this would have been a big deal. If he was planning on going elsewhere there would be no reason to have a meeting with golden.
I don't know, that's what it seems like to me.
