I knew some idiot was going to come and cry and use the fertile argument and the BCS school, now go back and re-read the claims
before going on your righteous rant about how the world of recruiting works this way or that way... really Noles, now we are making
excuses for going after nobodies, that we offered first and you thought were garbage... okay keep telling yourself whatever you want so you can sleep at night there little buddy...smh
It's all about the U!
We have yet to see if you will honor Franklins commitment. Seeing how your already cut loose Shelton and don't say it's mutual cause I live 10 min from this kids school and it was not mutual
Eat crow!! Not ear crow...
We're not sissy Mary's like your board and ban people for disagreeing however you do spend a lot of time on our boards so your more than welcome to jump ship and become a Cane :)
Dude, u honestly believe John Franklin's offer has nothing to do with Collins? I guess u also believe that Keith Bryant's overnight fascination with FSU has nothing to do with the possibility of FSU offering his teammates Bristly Estime & starting tailback who's name I cant remember. Same for Stacy Coley & his boy. You do know that both Reggie Northrup & Greg Dent said they only committed to Miami to entice an offer from FSU right? I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Jimbo didn't offer Trooper Taylor a job on his staff since trooper just recently expressed interest in the Miami wr job, just so they can get close to Ruben foster & friends.
The franklin offer has nothing to do with the collins one. He went to the camp every year and when they have seemed him progress each year they offered him
If u say so....this has gotten old.
ok since you guys have said that a thousand times answer this why didn't he get any other big offers?
Won't happen... ear or eat you got the message... and it was mutual between Shelton and FSU...
Don't need Trooper already have a WR coach... and guess what Bryant teammate Spells is offered to walk on at FSU...
Who is Stacy Coleys boy....
Dude, read my post again. I'm sure it has everything to do with Collins and them being boys. This is how you get the upper hand on your competition for that prospect. I'm saying the kid earned an offer as an athlete, we can afford to take a gamble on a kid like Franklin for the benefit of getting Collins. My point is, this is how schools at times get what they want. Do you really believe that Buck Ortega back in the day had any business as a D1 Qb? I think it had more to do with getting Sean Taylor, it does help at times!
Sean Taylor was coming to UM anyway & Ortega was recruited as wr/te , where he went on to have a pro career. Most importantly, don't ever mention Sean Taylor's name again in a meaningless debate.
Blah blah blah....your getting banned from here. Say bye bye
Trooper doesn't necessarily have to be a wr coach. If he can deliver Foster, Dee Liner & Carl Lawson, u know as well as anyone that Jimbo will find a spot 4 Trooper. On the flipside, TROOPER HAS ALREADY REACHED OUT TO MIAMI, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!
True, but honestly think about it if he called us how many other schools do you think he called? something has to be up with no team bringing him in or being heavily linked to him
Oh so you are banning me.... thanks for the heads up...
Good for Miami... I wouldn't want Trooper around considering that everywhere he has been he has been accused of something.. and no I don't think he has done anything wrong just no need to have that type of perception around any program...
That's an assumption Adrian. True, we don't know who he's already contacted, NOR do we have a clue as to how many schools have reached out to him. Could it be he just wants to be at Miami?? It's not like a Miami job is a meaningless job.??
Of course you would say that...Trooper's accusations have nothing to do with Miami's. Problem is everybody keeps expecting & assuming the worst with no solid evidence against Miami or Trooper. People can speculate all they want but you have to go by the EVIDENCE!!
Again you are wrong.... bringing in a guy who has been called dirty to a program who the NCAA has been investigating isn't a good recipe... also before you assume that I feel UM should be hammered or is guilty, I don't think either will or should happen... Nevin is scum and is just trying to make UM pay for his mistakes... now with that said the NCAA doesn't need evidence as it is not a judicial system..
They can and have punished teams based on what they feel happened... most likely UM gets tagged with LOIC and FTM....
Oh don't worry, that troll is quite clever, he'll tone it down so that won't happen
More " real talk " I see....
Evidence = 2 self imposed bowl bans... Does that count?
The only reason to self impose is because it is recognized that things went on that shouldn't have, by self imposing it is UM trying to make right what they did wrong.
As for Trooper, he has no true evidence that he ever did anything but lots of speculation is his previous roles of suspicious behavior.
lol oh you mad?!
Sean Taylor. Its not like I'm saying his name in vein, actually I had a great deal of respect for the man. He will go down as an all time great that was taken way to soon. I was simply using him and Buck Ortega as an example of how FSU has handled Collins and Franklin, pretty similar circumstances. Buck Ortega was listed as a QB at UM until he switched to TE, due to being buried on a stacked depth chart. Either way, he and Taylor were best buddies and I'm sure UM recognized that.
No reason to get all upset when someone is pointing out things that you are openly trashing us for. It sounds more like UM is waving the white flag on FSU stealing the best pieces of your class. I still think there is a very good chance that you still land Collins. Bryant will be a Nole.
LOL this guy, waving the flag, do you even have a clue what exactly we are talking on here, that's the second silly comment you have made.
Topic being discussed here is the following:
FSWHo, offering Miami recruits that they used to consider trash prior to them offering or offering lower class teammates in order to obtain the desire target.
