FRIDAY BUZZ COLUMN Beyond adding 16 players on National Signing Day, a few other roster moves are playing out at UM, with one key player suspended and three changing positions. Linebacker Eddie Johnson is “suspended indefinitely” for an accumulation of undisclosed issues, coach Al Golden told me. Asked if he...
Eddie really needs to get his sh*t together
also POSITION CHANGES
"Meanwhile, Golden told me three players are changing positions: Tight ends Dyron Dye and David Perry have moved to defensive end, an area that needed depth. And defensive end Jake O’Donnell, who redshirted, is shifting to tight end."
Kirby had offers from Alabama, Florida ,FSU, Georgia, Arkansas, and a lot of other schools. They all saw something in him but at the time he weighed about 210 a little light. Ranked # 5 at his position that year. Apparently, he is showing those skills that made his so highly sought after. If I recall he had a bad knee last year that kept him out quite a bit. Now approaching 230 pounds of muscle.

Wtf is he thinking dude shiting on his future.
ALL ABOUT THE U
Not really concerned about this suspension..once Johnson sees Kirby grabbing all his 1st team reps and ballin out he'll do what's necessary in order for him to get back on the squad come time..AG I believe is a helluva motivator and this could be just the kick in the a** Eddie needs..
...but the kid does need to shape the hell up

WE NEEEEED him to be ready to go for the spring
Hmmm so now we looking at gaines dp and kirby. God forbid they get hurt then what.
This Miami Herald article is from 9/27/12 on Eddie Johnson...physically gifted but back then problems were arising...hope it come out OK in the long run as he is talented.
Johnson, who was committed to Louisville throughout most of his recruiting process and didn’t switch over to UM until he got an offer shortly before National Signing Day in 2011, wasn’t always a player who did what he was supposed to do last year as a true freshman. Even though physically he might have been ready to contribute (Johnson bench presses 400 pounds and runs a 4.6 in the 40), D’Onofrio said Johnson had to mature mentally.
“There’s been a big evolution,” D’Onofrio said.
Linebackers coach Micheal Barrow said that evolution for Johnson “was just a matter of trusting his coaches,” and UM’s coaches finding a way to connect with him.
“You got to understand who you’re coaching and what buttons to push to get the best out of them,” Barrow said. “At times, I wanted to call 1-800 Dr. Phil and kind of get some advice. Now our relationship is so much better, and he’s playing better. At the core of our relationships, kids don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. When kids realize you care, they’ll lay on a barb-wire [fence] for you.”

Grace and Cornelius and Blue and Terry and Bond and Fentress
damn i wish we could have recruited some local stud to come in and play right away.. oh wait, lol i kid
Grace-needs a rs
Terry- jury still out
Fentress-good special teamer.
Bond -hope he can pick it up fast need those 17 sacks.
lots of going for it on 4th down
Dude is trippin hard but really excited to see Kirby and Bond is physically ready as well
Grogz alex fig
gonna need some development from guys like Terry, Kirby, and Blue....this offseason is so important
yea hes one to watch....He didnt play last year though so I assumed he would need a RS
good that he is already enrolled though
They say he was a legit 4 star recruit( not like they matter) but kid can ball
My biggest concern now is lb and dline. But I agree somebody as to be hungry
Well I rather he play then grace but both need rs imo.
why rs grace? spence came in same size and did great, dont sit him get him in there ASAP
bruh Spence came in after a 5-7 season circumstances made him play are u serious? we should be in the hunt this year and honestly LB depth is good. he need a rs
I think DE is pretty deep but DT and LB are big concerns for me as well....just not alot of experienced depth like other positions
dye and perry should have been moved to defense last year
I'm pretty sure that Eddie has been suspended since the end of the season and that has continued...
