Having an OC leave at this time in the offseason hurts a lot. It also really hurts because a bunch of guys are visiting UM right now and they will not have the opportunity to even meet Fisch.
I'm concerned how this will help us offensively with recruiting, most notably Alex Collins.
Do you guys think we'll be alright?
Envy the past, Fear the future
We're good big homie, if Olson was not committed, then yes. Most of our top targets are on D.
Yeah luckilly the olsen family has gotten close with golden, I think papa olsen is moving down there to florida?? Alex collins I feel wont have fisch leaving be the impact, but more so who and when we replace him. He could be a cane regardless for all we know, he decommitted because he didn't wanna disrespect the canes by taking in recruiting. Unlike some of our past recruits
any decomitts as of today? reality ck...after NSD we will know the impact.
golden is the alpha, not assistants...per his interviews, hc keep a list of assist replacements for biz reasons. now he gets to use the list. next...
Guys move on it's the way things are....there is never a good time to have a coach leave. Whoever steps in will probably run the same stuff Fisch did this year and he will probably rely on Stephen Morris a lot....after Morris leaves he can implement more of his system since the QB will be up for grabs.
