Thearon Collier played just two seasons at Miami before transferring to USC and then to West Alabama. His career hasn't gone as planned, but he's still working to get back on track.

Without him, we lose that wake forest a couple years back. Made a pivotal 1st down reception that kept the drive going with seconds remaining.

Or another receiver in the rotation makes the catch. There were a few big catches that drive his only play was the punt return for a td.

Are we talking about the same game? This is the one Im talking about. Fast forward to 5:40. Collier makes a great catch on 3rd down. This was an amazing drive by Jacory Harris. I remember I was at Longhorn Steakhouse watching this final drive screaming at the top of my lungs.

Is his eligibility up? Why not head back to college? West Alabama may have been a poor choice, but certainly he could still play somewhere. FIU? FAU? FSU?

Marcus Cane you're my man today cousin! I too remember where I was at watching that game (a young adult retreat with my church up in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin) I was in the restaurant there guzzling waters with lemons, screaming at the TV or having mini conniptions. I'd have to agree that catch and play did save the drive and game at that point. You can't arbitrarily say well someone else would have made a catch or play because that's theroretical and hopeful. J12 threw it to who he through it to and Collier came up BIG. Thanks MC for the flashback, throwback video that was awesome! Nate referenced a Keith Bryant quote the other day I'm going to revive it..."MC is that Dude!"

Collier was one of my favorite young players from that 2008 class... Too bad he couldn't keep his head straight... Does anyone remember that punt he cut back acroos the whole field that was set up by an amazing wall and a few huge hits? Forgot who it was against, but man I was excited about this kid when he got the nod over KT, Streeter, DJ, and all them... What coulda been...
